The MetaMask extension provides an API to websites you visit so they can interact with the blockchain. As of December 2020, they stopped injecting the web3.js API by default, which improves security and performance, but can break older and unmaintained websites. With this extension in combination with MetaMask, you can continue using those older sites as before.

- (2021-09-04) E: This extension is not working, but I found solution for myself: I am using Brave browser. 1. Manage Brave settings -> Disable Wallet extension (Its Brave tool) 2. Brave settings / Wallet -> Ethereum provider ... -> "None" 3. Brave settings / Wallet -> Load crypto portfolios -> "Disable". Also try to change brower (setup new Metamask instance with seeds) or update it. Hope it helps for you.

Click: Check/control Now (Just click the button that appears) Than it said: update Brave (even though I already updated Brave in the left upper corner). After the update was finished, everything worked! Maybe try it!

No one seems to want to help or can help, despite the log ON the B-Chain it calculates to zero. The only advise was to try again as I should be able to get it back this way -which I did .only to lose more money. Tough for just an Aussie pensioner. thanks Sad
