- (2021-12-04) Julie: Excellent extension! Does exactly what it's supposed to (unlike every other extension I tried for this)! I didn't know what to expect since there are so few reviews, but I'm very impressed. You open the chat in messenger (not regular facebook), click on the extension, and it will save it as a text file and html. The html file looks exactly like the facebook chat (includes names, messages, pictures, emojis, reactions to messages, etc.) and it downloaded a few thousand messages in no time at all! I was a bit concerned that I would have to the download multiple times because it doesn't ask for a date range, so you just have to guess the number of messages you want to dowload. However, it was no problem because once it finishes downloading the number of messages you asked for, it askes you if you want to download 500 more (and then 500 more, and 500 more, and so on...) and will just continue adding them to the same file for you to dowload. I was easily able to dowload the entire chat history (as far back as facebook would allow) in less than 30s! Honestly, I couldn't have expected anything more! WELL DONE!!
- (2021-11-04) EJ Reyes: nice extension, was able to easly backup conversations with one user only. i couldnt back up conversations when groups where involved. still very very quick and efficient system to backup. clean and compact html file generated. 2 thumbs up! hope you can work on the group conversation back up in upcoming versions. thanks!

- (2021-10-03) Godz Fire3: This has a lot of potential. It actually works which is a plus as no other programs currently do that, however the person's name and 'You Sent' on the right side issue needs to be addressed. Once that is done this extension will be in pretty good shape functionality wise.
- (2021-09-29) Brandon Intihar: This plugin works - HOWEVER - do not view the HTML source that's generated. I could not believe how much code I saw. The "you sent" between each message needed to be removed and I figured I would edit it out myself... If there's a way to only capture the messenger chat box contents, I would suggest doing so. This almost hade me flag the extension for review.
