Youtube has recently removed the ability for users to see the dislike counter on a video. YouTube Dislike Count utilizes the YouTube API to bring back the counter we all know and love. This lightweight extension will allow you to once again see how many dislikes a video has rather than just seeing “DISLIKE”. This allows you to gauge if the video you are about to watch is worth your time or not.
How to use:
1. Install the extension
2. Open a YouTube video
3. You are done! It’s that simple.

- (2021-11-29) Dennis Rönn: Doesn't work. I tried "Empty Cache and Hard Reload". Tried closing browser completely. Even restarted the extension multiple times. Running latest version of Brave which is Chromium based. Do yourself a favour and don't try to get this working. It won't.

Uninstalled my ad blocker to see if that was somehow messing with it and refreshed the page a few times...nothing. Hopefully either this gets updated to actually work or some other app does it instead

- (2021-11-23) Daniel Rose: It fine but as mentioned in other reviews it does not work when you have liked or disliked a video already. You need to remove your like or dislike and reload the page for it to work.
