Image from store Sortly (a Feedly extension)
Description from store Do you really love how RSS readers work, but got tired of all those daily articles and you find it unefficient to go through all of them? The solution has arrived, Sortly! Sort by popularity/likes, so you can read what other people found the most interesting, based on various social network feedbacks. Usage: - open feedly - make sure you are using the New React-based rendering engine (General Settings) - make sure you are using the Title-only view - open your feed - press 'q' #feedly #sortly #sort #popularity #engagement #likes #facebook #twitter #google+

  • (2021-02-07) Matt Jarbo: The extension worked great for a while, but lately it isn't working at all. Hopefully they'll update it and fix it.
  • (2019-06-02) Fredrik Blomqvist: No longer works (changes the order of the list, but it's definitely not sorted by popularity).
  • (2018-01-11) Michael Wan: It is a must extension for Feedly to find useful article fast in RSS. Thank you Anarkin.
  • (2017-03-15) Иван Куприянов: Works great. Would be nice to automatically load all hidden entries (somtimes i get 1k+). It's annoying to press PageDown and wait while it stops scrolling.
  • (2017-03-06) Sylvain JG: Still working. Here's how: Go to your profile clicking on your icon on the top right in any feed page, Go to Preferences, General Settings, Rendering Engine, select "New React Base...". Then type q in any feed to apply Sortly
  • (2017-02-06) Muhammad Mutahar: No longer working...
  • (2016-11-30) Ardian Yuli Setyanto: Unfortunately this extension no longer work after Feedly updated their top bar UI
  • (2016-11-23) John Ta: This was a necessary chrome extension to help me navigate the abundance of info coming through feedly to just the popular stuff and was awesome but it is no longer available in some feedly redesign
  • (2016-11-19) Drew Dormann: Unfortunately, a Feedly redesign broke this extension.
  • (2016-11-17) Abderrahmane Tahri Jouti: It is good, but sadly it is not working with the new design this week
  • (2016-11-16) Julien FRITSCH: It was orking, it is not anymore working for me
  • (2016-11-15) Daniel Brunelli: One of the best extension, something it should be native
  • (2016-08-15) I think the latest Feedly update has killed this extension?
  • (2016-08-07) Matthew Arnold: An elegant little button to sort feedly articles by popularity. If you haven't loaded all the articles in a feed, the extension won't do it for you. J/K keys also don't really work for browsing through the freshly sorted articles. Both are minor quibbles.
  • (2016-03-09) Russell Gagnon: --Very good concept (should be native feature anyway) --Stable and implemented well --This only sorts what's already loaded by Feedly, which severely limits the value for large feeds or across feeds Example - I have 10,000+ unread when I'm back from vacation, and would like to start reading by popularity...no way to accomplish this even if it takes awhile
  • (2016-01-24) Konstantin K.: Love it. Can't wait for "Sort automagically" implemented.
  • (2015-11-26) The only flaw is that it works only in "Title view". Please include the "magazine view".
  • (2015-09-07) Андрей Волосович: what about firefox users? сортировка работает только для загруженных постов, если Вы хотите отсортировать все сообщения, сначала нужно их загрузить все, проще говоря, прокрутить ленту конкретного блога в самый конец.
  • (2015-03-16) Jorge Quintanilla: I love this extension. i hope Feedly adopts this sooner than later. It has actually made my RSS a lot more useful. Good job, developer!
  • (2015-03-11) It is currently not working for me.
  • (2015-02-25) Kaifei Chen: exactly what I wanted!
  • (2015-02-19) Rich Christiansen: Awesome. Don't know why this feature isn't included in Feedly itself.
  • (2015-01-31) One Two: Very useful! Thanks!
  • (2014-09-21) Petko Popadiyski: finally a good sorting extension!

  • (2019-11-03, v:2.1) Andrej Martinák: Sortly sorting only alphabetically
Not really sure whether I am doing everything correctly, but it seems that when I press 'q' in feedly, the articles (in Title Mode Only) are sorted only alphabetically...
  • (2019-03-20, v:2.1) Clinton Owen: Now sorting in small groups
Windows 10 64-bit, Chrome v72.0.3626.121 Sortly recently stopped sorting the full list of articles and now sorts them in small sections. See the GIF below for what I mean: https://imgur.com/ZYj17mT
  • (2017-05-03, v:2.1) d b: Support for alphabetically sorting
It would be very nice if you could add alphabetical sorting (based on the "subject" of an article) to this extension.
  • (2017-03-15, v:2.1) Иван Куприянов: Automatically load all entries.
Sometimes i get 1k+ not read messages. To sort them i press PageDown and wait till it scrolls to the end. It's pertty annoying. Can extension automatically load not visible entries (may be with different hotkey)?
  • (2016-12-06, v:0.94) Julien FRITSCH: Doesn't look to be working anymore on Chrome
Am I the only one ?
  • (2016-11-15, v:0.94) James Sandberg: Feedly updated interface - Sortly broken
As a paying member of Feedly let me tell you - the new feature that has been implemented to sort feed items by popularity is awful in comparison with what Sortly offers. just repasting the fix to this so you can get back to using Sortly! Go to Preferences > Rendering Engine, and select "Old Miro-based rendering engine (deprecated)" http://feedly.com/i/preferences
  • (2016-11-14, v:0.94) John Mulqueen: Sortly stopped working?
Sortly arrow button is suddenly gone. Reinstalled extension, but same error. Any fixes?
  • (2016-11-06, v:0.94) duplicated items in feed after sorting
Hi there, first of all, thanks for the amazing extension you created. :) I haven't experienced issues people describe here as "sortly broken", and the proposed fix does not help me, so here goes: I noticed that sortly messes with the feed, for example: http://www.lifehack.org/feed/ ends up having duplicates on the list after sorting. I assume they changed something with indexes on feedly side, so your algorithm is now "off" somehow? It still does sort, but it seems it does not remove the "not-sorted" item from the list? Anyway, that is just how it seems to me - I could be entirely wrong :) Thanks!
  • (2016-10-02, v:0.94) Bruno Werneck de Almeida: Feedly
The recent Feedly update broke Sortly. The below fix by Sulaiman works but wondering if there is a workaround for Sortly while still using the new version of Feedly. *** Go to Preferences > Rendering Engine, and select "Old Miro-based rendering engine (deprecated)" http://feedly.com/i/preferences
  • (2016-09-21, v:0.94) Joey Ambrose: No longer working
Apparently the a recent update to feedly broke sortly. This is an extremely useful plugin, so I'm hoping you are able to fix it. Happy to donate money if that helps - just tell me where. Thank you.
