Description from store For any problems, issues or feature requests, open a new issue in the following repo: https://github.com/extramaster/Age-Restriction-Bypass-YouTube (yes, it's open source now!) Youtube's fixed age restriction prevents users under 18 from watching certain videos. Unfortunately, moderately graphic or violent depictions in videos blocks access to content that's barely considered graphic in 15+ rated movies. As a result, bypassing the restriction in YouTube videos to circumvent the unfair minimum age requirement is the only logical step to take, and this extension does exactly that. If you don't have a YouTube account and you find that the age restriction is incorrect because you are in fact over 18, then this extension works as well... Instead of having to go through the tedious process of creating a fake over 18 Google Account, all you have to do is to install and enjoy! Previously "Age restricted" videos will now be to watch at your discretion! The video that was previously restricted will now talk, walk and act like the normal YouTube player. Take note, however, that the content that you watch will may or may not be distressing. Make sure, for your safety that you enable this extension only when you come across a video that you think or are legally allowed to watch and disable it afterwards. Notes: Works with native HTML5 - just disable flash from chrome://plugins If the extension does not work, please leave a support request by clicking on the "Need to report a problem?" link above the review box, before actually submitting the review, so that I can follow it up. This extension can: Bypass YouTube age restrictions. Allow you to skip creating a YouTube account over 18 to watch restricted videos. Remove YouTube age restrictions Remove YouTube restrictions Bypass and remove the "Content Warning. Sorry, this content is age-restricted" message where the "This video has been age-restricted based on our Community Guidelines" message does not hold true. Note: This is not a "login restriction" circumvention extension, other extensions also "facilitate" the same functionality of this extension, in fact, this extension already works without the need of logging in.

(2015-02-23) Scutshakes: I can understand why many people would find a use for this, as videos will get flagged for no reason at all due to the inherent silliness of humanity and the incompetence of YouTube's system, and many people take exception to logging in because of the integration with Google+. So this extension would, in theory, be an excellent solution to improve the convenience and general quality-of-life for YouTube use. Unfortunately this extension's function causes the now-unblocked videos to conflict with Youtube's UI by clipping through it, blocking an appalling portion of the video and rendering most of the options on the video's toolbar inaccessible. Unless this gets patched soon (last update was 4 months ago at the time of this review), do not bother with it. YouTube updates their own website too often for their own good. But, at the same time, a solution to blocked videos should have little concern with being compatible to future layout changes, shouldn't it?
