Tab Tamer helps you organise crowded browsing sessions by grouping related tabs into named sets you can save, manage, and reopen later. From a simple popup, you can create groups from the current window, rename or delete groups, and restore all tabs in a group in one click—ideal for separating work vs. research, keeping recurring projects tidy, or parking deep-dive sessions so you can come back fresh. The extension uses minimal, privacy-respecting capabilities: it reads basic tab metadata to assemble and restore groups and stores your groups locally so they’re available the next time you open your browser. No accounts, no analytics, and no unnecessary permissions—just fast tab organisation that stays out of your way.
