Incognito Tracker is a lightweight browser extension designed for privacy-conscious incognito mode users.
Whenever you visit a website in an incognito window, the extension automatically records the URL. But don't worry —
all data stays on your local device. Nothing is ever uploaded.
Core Features:
1. Password Protection: Set a password on first use; required every time you open the extension. PBKDF2 hashed storage
(210,000 iterations SHA-256) — plain-text passwords are never saved. In incognito windows, unlock once and stay
unlocked for the entire browser session. Forgot password? Reset clears all data and lets you start fresh.
2. Automatic Incognito History: Only works in incognito mode; normal browsing is completely unaffected. Automatically
records visited URLs and page titles. No content scripts injected into web pages. Skips internal pages like chrome://,
edge://, about:.
3. Bookmarks & Quick Open: One-click bookmark the current incognito site. Click any entry to reopen it in an incognito
window.
4. Data Management: Single-entry swipe delete. Clear all with confirmation dialog. Separate History and Bookmarks
tabs.
5. Bilingual i18n: Automatically switches between Chinese and English based on browser language. Both languages fully
covered with complete translations.
About Privacy: This extension does NOT collect, transmit, or upload any data. Only 2 minimal permissions (storage,
tabs). No history/cookies/webRequest access. Built with pure vanilla JavaScript — zero third-party dependencies.
