It's a 100% free plugin, and I'm building it entirely in my spare time, so positive feedback and ideas are what fuel me. If you have any ideas for questions or categories that you want to see added, open an issue on the github page. https://github.com/benjaffe/chrome-okc-plugin/issues Open Source: This plugin is open source. You can see all of the code on github. https://github.com/benjaffe/chrome-okc-plugin Note for Geeks: If you want to make custom categories, you'll have to do some data file hacking. I'm sorry I can't provide support for those of you who try, and if you do, make a backup of your changes. Every time I update the plugin, it will overwrite your modifications. But if you contact me with your ideas and new data files, I'll integrate them!

  • (2019-11-07) E C: I loved this extension in the past, but it doesn't work with the current version of the site.
  • (2019-07-26) Dave Fogarty: Looks like it needs to be updated to work with changes OKC has made. Half-broken for now.
  • (2019-06-07) Işın Demirşahin: Change categories is gone :/
  • (2019-05-07) Jenny Churchill: I can't find the change categories link anywhere. Can anyone help?
  • (2019-01-23) Lee Gatchell: Only way to fix the recent change to remove information - absolutely essential. Thanks for the update!
  • (2019-01-18) Mur Mur: There seems to be a bug with the new update where it started to break okc. Please fix. Old: Does what okcupid should be doing.
  • (2019-01-17) Charlie Silverman: This extension really made OKC even better for me... that is until the site redesign a few days ago. Now it doesn't pick up the questions anymore, likely because the format has changed and the addon is unable to parse the questions anymore. I really hope the developer can fix it.
  • (2019-01-03) Don Krapf: This is great! It automatically displays the questions you would otherwise hunt down manually. The pop-up for answering more questions seems to be broken but it's still worth 5 stars.
  • (2018-12-26) Tina Louise: oh thank god for this. saves so much time!
  • (2018-06-21) JAVIER GARCIA: soy mexican may and have dates of births 9/4/61,2/7/1962~+5 12 1971~+++++
  • (2018-05-16) Juan-Manuel Clavijo: This is a great extension to help filter out and filter in some things I find important with someone I date. It shows up on their info page quickly and easily without me having to sift through it.
  • (2017-12-25) Bianca Pasternack: Helpful in filtering for red flags. I'd love if there was a pet-friendly or dog/cat/both/neither filter, but have no idea how to add that... so if anyone reading this is in the mood to make that happen, that'd be cool
  • (2017-08-14) Alan Shurafa: This plug is really helpful when looking for specific details in a profile
  • (2017-07-30) Laurel Johnson: This is such a great tool.
  • (2017-05-06) Martin Kenny: You've added value here, you may enjoy this article: https://www.wired.com/2014/01/how-to-hack-okcupid/ Keep up the good work.
  • (2017-03-05) Sasha Sagan: This is the best way to interface with OKC. Problems and incompatibilities show up *immediately* on their profiles.
  • (2016-12-22) Oz StickPlayer: I'd give this 5 stars - certainly for concept. Execution however... some rather serious bugs they somehow don't seem to know about, such as the "improve accuracy" feature - in Chrome/Windows (latest) - can't answer questions at all, the "x" doesn't close the popup, etc. So, some features are completely non-functional. But what works is useful enough to go with it.
  • (2016-11-02) Aaron Jacob Jones: Love this extension. As a queer, kinky poly person you can determine someone's compatibility in seconds, without having to trawl through every question.
  • (2016-10-30) God First: lovee
  • (2016-10-29) Corey Stone: I really like this extension. It helps you to see some information and determine your compatibility with people a little bit quicker and easier. It just feels nice to have something there to help you in your search for a companion. It's like a cheat code for your life.
  • (2016-05-18) David Shapiro: Needs work. The plugin and label panels aren't usable/disappear. Good luck keeping this working at all. OKC now changes their API and layout on a regular basis to discourage 3rd party apps and plugins.
  • (2016-04-15) Carry Barnes: love it it so dam cool and funny people
  • (2016-01-13) Anna Navis: Game-changing. Won't use OkC without it.
  • (2016-01-06) Chris Wilson: Great work man!
  • (2016-01-05) Gary Morris: I absolutely love this app! I wish it was available for Firefox too but I won't complain. I love the way it drills down to the questions to more specifically match what is important to you with the profile you are looking at and displays those questions right there for you. Love this app!

Hi, I know the app is not in development, but wasn't sure if you knew it was completely broken. Was very useful in the past, but thought I'd take the time to say thanks when it mostly worked and hope for some continuation in the future.

Afraid that the plugin isn't working. Just downloaded and nothing seems to be different except the logo.
  • (2019-08-18, v:3.0.1) Patrick King: Plug-in not working
Hello there, as I'm sure many have already told you, OKCupid has once again messed with their platform and your wonderful, ever so helpful extension isn't working. Will you be updating it to work with their new extra dumbed down system? Thanks Patrick
  • (2019-08-16, v:3.0.1) Bill Ward: Broken again
I guess okcupid changed the site, because the plugin no longer seems to be doing its thing
  • (2019-04-11, v:3.0.1) Peter Nilsson: Choice of topics - view and edit options are not visible anymore
Thanks Ben for creating and maintaining this extension. It is such a time saver. Two issues really 1. As stated in the tile. The editing option disappeared. What I had before is till working. 2. Some topics would occasionally disappear, and now I am unable to view and document till the view and edit function works again. Thanks again.
  • (2019-03-28, v:3.0.1) Dave Fogarty: Question link
Having the questions displayed as links to the question itself would be nice.
  • (2019-02-11, v:3.0.1) Moses Miller: change categories missing?
I cannot find a link to change the categories - is it still there?

Is there any way to get updated when the plugin starts working again?
  • (2019-01-17, v:2.9.5) As of Jan 16 2018, not working
It appears that any webservice/api youre calling to query on questions is not working.
  • (2019-01-16, v:2.9.5) Lee Gatchell: Broken by OKC Questions Update
Hey, absolutely love your plugin, but unfortunately the recent update to how questions are displayed broke it. Any ideas as to what's going on?
  • (2018-11-26, v:2.9.5) Jason Bechtel: question being scored backwards ~ "would you date a racist?"
"Would you consider dating someone who has vocalized a strong negative bias toward a certain race of people?" (Basically, "would you date a racist?") This extension is counting a "No" answer *against* the person's "race-nondiscriminatory" score. Not dating racists should count *toward* one's race-nondiscriminatory score.
