This should bypass the annoying 'thought of the day' splash screen on Forbes™ website. Unlike other extensions, we do not click the continue to site button rather we use advanced cookie manipulation to get past that.

- (2016-03-31) David Sworder: I gave up on Forbes when they started blocking users like me who use AdBlock Plus. As a matter of practice, I won't disable ad blocking for ANY site -- much less a mediocre one like Forbes. Just for fun I thought I'd see if this handy extension would thwart Forbes' blocking mechanism and it sure did. Works like a charm! And as an added bonus, that useless "quote of the day" screen vanishes as well.

- (2015-04-10) J Clifton Meek: Forbes has occasionally interesting articles. they have a disdain for their visitors with their splash screen. This little app is great and does what it says. You do need to close and restart Chrome after you've installed, then it's as though the splash screen never existed. Good job!
