If you are on the Stellenbosch University network and would like to access the internet you have to make use of the Inetkey. You will have to...
1.) Leave a tab open when accessing the internet
2.) Enter login information each time you want to use the internet
3.) Have no real indication of whether you have internet or not
This extension is for personal use and obviously only for chrome. Once installed it needs to be configured via the options page to save your login information. The plugin will then enable / disable your internet when clicking the icon within chrome.
An added benefit is that it will also try to log you into the other services the University provides.

I did that and apparently my password is a failure. I have changed my password and and still said failure. What could be the problem? Is my internet account amount to much dept?

- (2013-10-09) Andrew van der Westhuizen: I agree with Gian and Gareth. I originally wrote this for myself and released it back to the University. Will update it when I can make time to look into it, plus to fix some bugs I have noticed. In response to Luca Lategan... this is designed to allow access to the internet from within the university network to the external internet. So there is no point in it working outside the network, unless you would really like to pay for your internet usage off campus as well... :) The original inetkey is also not supported off campus.

- (2013-03-08) Gareth Arnott: Seriously love this extension. My only request would be that you could choose to have it default to login when you start Chrome. Yes I know it is just one click of a difference, but it would be nice!
