VoiceHints
Extension Actions
Numbered voice hints on every clickable element. Click, copy, speak, or dictate by number. Built for Dragon and voice users.
VoiceHints puts a high-contrast number badge on every interactive element of a webpage - links, buttons, form fields, and custom widgets, including elements inside iframes and shadow DOM that other tools miss.
Press Alt+Shift+V (or click the toolbar icon), read the number you want, and dictate it into the command box:
- 45 - click element 45
- c45 - copy its text to the clipboard
- l45 - copy its link
- s45 - hear its label read aloud using your computer's built-in offline voice
- t45 - open its link in a new tab
- f45 - focus a field for dictation
- d45 - open a clean, high-contrast Dictation Box over a stubborn field; dictate into it, then Ctrl+Enter adds the text to the field
- e45 - Edit Box: opens holding the field's current text so you can revise it, then Ctrl+Enter puts it back
Text-entry fields are shown with inverted-colour badges, so you can see
at a glance which targets take dictation. Numbers can be spoken as words:
"copy forty five" works too. Keystrokes typed into VoiceHints boxes never
reach the page behind, so undo and editing behave safely.
Designed by an assistive technology specialist for users of Dragon Professional, Windows Voice Access, and other voice-control software - and for anyone who benefits from large, high-visibility click targets.
Three colour palettes and three number sizes, configurable in Settings.
Privacy by design: VoiceHints runs entirely inside your browser. It collects nothing, stores nothing beyond your display preferences, and transmits nothing. Speech output uses only your computer's local offline voices.
