Epiverse is a comment system overlay for all webpages. Open the sidebar while browsing to see the Reddit/Hacker News comments for that webpage.
Comment threads are specific to URL and can come from a variety of sources (currently Reddit and Hacker News). Posting comments with Epiverse is disabled for now but will be available again in the future.
Once Epiverse is installed, it will display the number of comments per webpage in the badge icon on your extension hotbar. Upon clicking the badge icon, the sidebar will open and load the relevant thread/s for that webpage. You can also configure the sidebar to auto-open, specific to domain.
Epiverse contains no ads, and signup is not required to view Reddit/Hacker News content.

- (2018-06-19) FoxtrotPirates: I wish it was more customizable, my biggest issue is that if I want to continue a conversation it takes me to a new page instead of just loading more comments, and if I press back I end up back at the top of the thread, not matter how far down I was. If there was some way to customize this, or if they just made all comments collapsible it would be less frustrating, but I haven't found any way to mess with display settings or anything like that. But over all a good extension.

- (2017-09-24) Needed an AlienTube replacement for the new YouTube, and this works great. 👍
- (2017-03-22) Michael Afrin: I like the idea, and it is much smoother than AlienTube for me. The only issue is, the reddit feature doesn't work at all on youtube. No matter what video I use, it'll just show a thread with 0 up or down votes and 0 comments, regardless of how many actually exist.

I've noticed that since last week (feb 2020) Epiverse a blank page shows, with the notification of threads still displayed in the 'chrome extensiosn corner'. As far as I can see, this has happened since Youtube has forced me to use its new and worse layout. The icon still displays the number of comments attached to a page but the tab is blank whenever I click on it.
