- (2019-01-31) Olivia Daly: With the tablister extension for Safari, if you click on the tablister button, it saves ALL of the websites from ALL your tabs. This does not seem to be the case with the chrome extension. Also, unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't let you save your tabs under saved links like the safari one does? To see if I could fix this, I just ended up having one 'tab lister' tab for every chrome tab I had open and minimised them all (about 10, maybe 15?) left them for a while (i think up to a week) and I open them and ALL MY TABS ARE GONE!!!!! and now I can't seem to even click on the tablister extension; it doesn't do anything. I'm frustrated as I don't know whether my tabs were personal or for school work, and I can't open them in my history as I don't know what the tabs were as I left them for a while (i left them for a long time, but I expected that I would be able to access them after minimising the tabs). Currently I have 16 Chrome windows open and probably about 60+ tabs (rough estimate). Looks like I'll have to copy and paste EVERY SINGLE LINK INTO SAFARI AND USE THE SAFARI TAB LISTER EXTENSION TO SAVE THEM.

Hi; love the tablister safari extention. With this one, when I click on the tab lister button, it only collects the tabs for one browser window. Annoying if you have multiple windows. Also, not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I couldn't seem to save my tabs? Was so frustrating so I ended up having multiple windows minimised with one tab list each (defeats the purpose of a tab management tool) and then I left them for i think about a week, and just now I tried to opened them, and could not seem to acess my tabs; it just came up blank. Very frustrating as I don't know whether they were for work or school and I don't think I can open them in my history as obviously I don't know the name of the tabs (and when i first opened them). Also, doesn't seem like the tab lister extension button is working for me any more; when i click it, it doesn't do anything. Now I'm thinking the only thing left for me to do is copy all the links from 16 chrome browswers and probably about 60+ tabs into safari and saving them that way. i press 'pin tab',delete said tab,then i go onto tab lister and that tab isnt saved on either 'show current links' or show saved links and create websites.is this a legitimate problem or am i doing things wrong(as usual) - (2016-01-11, v:4.9.2) restcure: Safari (Mac, v9.0.2, Yosemite)
Using Tab Lister resulted in all of all other open windows being closed, losing the associated tab histories: re-opening from the tab list can not bring that back. The only way I can find to restore the lost tabs (without the lost history, grrrr) is by opening all in one window, then re-consructing the window/tab structure manually. Tabs tend to open in the same window, even if the tab list is removed to a different one; when tab list is moved, "open links in tabs" will open the first tab in the list in the previous window and the rest - sometimes - next to the new tab lister window.
