  • (2024-04-02) pabbi prem: Voices chosen for Hindi are quite incompetent , HORRIBLE..!!! If not possible to make proper delivery then better Hindi be removed from your Language List.
  • (2024-03-19) M Choi: I like the screen shot button. It helps me to focus on listening while reading a paragraph or two instead of a whole page. Whoever made an idea for a screen shot button is a game changer.
  • (2024-03-12) Jacklez: This extension saved me for school and I managed to increase my grades drastically because of it. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't like reading and would prefer to listen such as myself.
  • (2024-02-02) Jeffrey Miller: Why did you get rid of the skip sentence buttons? I don't want to be forced to hear headlines, captions and other junk! Please bring back the skip sentence buttons or I just can't use your product anymore. Edit: You brought the skip buttons back which was great, but you took them away again! Clicking on the sentence doesn't work nearly as well as the skip buttons. On some sites it'll jump to the top of the page suddenly or the sentences will have a very small clickable area. Please, please, bring back the skip buttons. I'm sorry skip buttons don't achieve the UI look you're trying to achieve, but I won't pay for something that has actively made it's product worse. 2-1-2024: Why the heck do you keep removing the skip sentence button? I don't even want to read articles now. Like, is it because you think skip buttons look lame or is there some financial decision that leads you to make the user experience so much worse?

  • (2024-01-13) Mikey Howell: For an auditory learner and/or anyone with reading comprehension issues, this is a game changer! The voice can be a little difficult to follow, it sounds robotic as opposed to fluid and human, but I think the value of this program far outweighs that small issue. • (2024-01-08) djay doom: I don't know if I should utilize AI to improve upon what I'm writing right now, but my mind was blown as I utilized the free service they offer to improve a letter to my narcissistic brother and change the tone and tenor of my email so that it was more convincing to a person who doesn't feel feelings. Now that is a technological breakthrough I'm all about this is amazing and we are on the verge of a sea change, we have not seen since the invention of the wheel. I am in convinced of that now.

  • (2020-07-06, v:4.0.3) Drew Snelgrove: Selective Web sites
As mentioned by others, the Control graphics look great, but are unusable at bottom on the page. Most of all, the web sites that have been wonderfully read from Speechify for the last 10 months, are no longer able to be read. Help! Drew
  • (2020-07-02, v:4.0.3) Sandeep Thapa: Please give us back the old features
The play button is a distractions. I mainly use option+q to read highlighted text. Now I can not do any of that, I cannot use the shortcut nor can I read the highlighted text. It reads the whole page. The update is just sad. Please, do something.
  • (2020-07-02, v:4.0.3) Jon Bachelor: Not liking the new control on web pages
I believe it came from the update on 2020.07.01 - a new graphic for a speechify control is now displayed in the lower-right of basically all web pages now, and I have been unable to find any sort of preference to turn this off. Please give us an option to turn off this on-page UI element... On some websites, it winds up interfering with their page (here is a screenshot of an example from Outdoorsy: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuQOlz1). Even if it did not directly get in the way, I am not a fan of adding new UI elements to a page unless it is absolutely necessary. Just a little toggle to turn it off would be very much appreciated. Thanks for the great work, overall! Jon
  • (2020-07-02, v:4.0.0) Jon Bachelor: July 1, 2020 update not working on Chrome
Just like I see others reporting, the extension just shows the animated 3 dots. I never even get to a login. I can get to a login clicking on the new icon at the lower-right of the web page, but the login page I get to suffers the same eternal 3 animated dots problem as the extension icon in the toolbar.

There are few problems with extension; 1. In the pop-up window of the extension, can't see the text along with audio, as it is shown in intro video. I can hear to sound, but there the no corresponding text. 2. When click on extension icon after selecting text, the audio doesn't start. It starts only when I click on extension's icon from right click menu. 3. When audio starts playing, there is no way to stop it. No matter how many times I click on pause button from extension's pop-up menu, it doesn't pause. Please guide me how to fix these issues.
