📎 GMAILGRABBER — BATCH ATTACHMENT DOWNLOADER
Download multiple email attachments without opening and saving each file individually.
GmailGrabber lets you find, filter, and download attachments from your currently open Gmail page. Select attachments from an open conversation, multiple selected emails, or visible search results, then save them individually or as a ZIP file.
🔎 SMART FILTERING
Quickly narrow down the attachments you want using filters such as:
• File type
• Filename or keyword
• Sender
• Minimum file size
• Inline-image exclusion
For example, you can find PDF invoices from a specific sender while excluding logos and email-signature images.
📦 ORGANIZE YOUR DOWNLOADS
Choose how your files should be saved:
• Download files individually
• Combine attachments into a ZIP
• Choose a custom folder inside Downloads
• Organize files into sender-based subfolders
• Add the email date to filenames
• Automatically create unique filenames when duplicates exist
🔄 SIMPLE WORKFLOW
1. Open Gmail.
2. Open an email, select multiple messages, or perform a search.
3. Open GmailGrabber.
4. Choose your filters and download options.
5. Select “Grab All Attachments.”
The extension shows how many download requests were accepted and identifies files that could not be started so you can retry them.
🔒 PRIVACY FIRST
GmailGrabber is designed to process attachment information locally in your browser.
• No Gmail API is used.
• No external account is required.
• Email contents and attachments are not uploaded to our servers.
• No advertising or email-content tracking is included.
• Your downloaded files remain on your device.
The extension requests only the browser permissions needed to interact with the active Gmail page, remember your preferences, and initiate downloads.
⚠️ SEARCH RESULT LIMITATION
When using search mode, GmailGrabber processes the result rows that are currently loaded on the page. Scroll through the results first if you need to include additional messages.

- Been using this for a bit and it works pretty well. It makes dealing with a lot of attachments much less annoying and saves some time. The setup was simple and I didn't have to figure much out before using it. It's not something everyone will need, but if you regularly handle emails with lots of files, it's definitely useful. Overall, a solid extension that does its job without any hassle.

- It really WANTS to be good, but I had 6 emails in a thread, each with 4 attachments, and 2 emails with 5 attachments. Every file is named differently. It successfully download all 34 files. However, it changed the name of most of them to duplicate file names with a number (ie: (7)) after the name. It appears to have used the file names in the first email to save all the files in the other emails in the thread and simply added a number.
