Tab Memory Saver automatically puts your unused tabs to sleep, freeing up RAM without closing them. Click any sleeping tab to instantly restore it — your session is preserved exactly as you left it.
HOW IT WORKS
Chrome's built-in tab suspension (chrome.tabs.discard) is used to remove a tab's memory footprint while keeping it visible in the tab bar. When you click a sleeping tab, Chrome reloads it automatically.

- I can honestly give this extension a 5-star review. The UI design is absolutely beautiful, and the entire tool is incredibly easy to use. I also really appreciate how clearly and nicely they inform users about their privacy policy and the fact that they don’t store your data. Before installing this, my MacBook would constantly overheat because I keep way too many tabs open. Chrome's built-in Memory Saver feature - even when set to the absolute maximum - just wasn't freeing up as much RAM as I needed. Tab Saver solved that completely. It keeps my Mac running cool, but still gives me a perfect, accessible list of all the tabs I had open before. It’s highly effective, simple, and exactly what I was looking for!
