VidHatch — Video Downloader for HLS, M3U8 & MP4

VidHatch finds the media on the page you are viewing and saves it in one click — clean, complete, and yours.

What it does:
• Detects video streams (HLS and DASH), direct video files, audio, images and animated GIFs on any page.
• Merges split audio and video into a single, ready-to-play MP4 — right in your browser, no companion app.
• Saves just the sound of a video as MP3 or M4A — M4A keeps the original audio untouched, MP3 is encoded at 192 kbps on your machine.
• Lists every downloadable file with its format, resolution and size, so you pick exactly what you want.
• Pause, resume or cancel any download, even while a stream is being merged.
• Works from the toolbar popup, the side panel, or the right-click menu on a video or image.
• No ads, no watermark, no upsell in your downloads.

Private by design:
• Downloads run on your machine. The files never pass through our servers.
• Detection happens locally in your browser. The only exception is the optional Pro resolver, which sends the page address for supported sites only.

Free forever:
• Detecting and downloading video, audio, images and GIFs is free and unlimited, at full quality.
• Merging streams and saving the sound as MP3 or M4A are free too.
• Optional Pro adds a resolver for harder, cipher-protected sites, plus batch tools — one payment, no subscription.
