Website Lock

Website Lock protects the sites and new tabs you choose with a password or a pattern.
Handy on a shared family computer or an office PC when you want certain sites kept private.

■ Site locking
• Add or remove locked sites from the popup in one click
• Unlock with a password or a drawn pattern, or require both (double lock)
• Lock all sites, or lock new tabs
• Each tab unlocks on its own; other tabs or a page refresh cannot bypass the lock

■ Security
• Attempt limit: input is blocked for a while after too many wrong tries, with a log of recent failures
• Auto re-lock: a page you left open locks again after 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes
• Scheduled locking: choose the days and hours when sites lock automatically
• Passwords and patterns are never stored as-is, only as PBKDF2 hashes

■ Look and backup
• Choose the lock screen theme, icon, message and a cute pet
• Export your settings to a file and import them elsewhere (password and pattern data are not included)

■ Privacy
All settings stay in this browser. The extension does not collect or send your browsing history or personal data.
A few simple mini-games are included for short breaks.

If you forget your password the lock cannot be opened, so please keep it safe.
