EshaalTab replaces the new tab with a calm page for the things you open every day.
• Boards: group links into boards and give each one a color. Pin your favorite boards to Home.
• Search: search the web from the bar, or press Ctrl+K to find links, open tabs, notes and history.
• Notes: a simple notepad with lists and checklists that stays in sync across your tabs.
• Focus timer: a full-screen countdown with 15, 25, 45 and 60 minute presets.
• Library: save a window as a session, keep a read-later list, and restore workspaces in one click.
• Your look: image or video wallpapers, light and dark mode, accent colors and fonts.
Private by default. Everything is stored in your browser. There is no account, no ads and no tracking. Optional permissions (tabs, bookmarks, history) are only requested when you turn on the feature that needs them.
The search bar uses your browser's default search engine unless you pick another one in the bar.
Import bookmarks from Chrome, or from a CSV or JSON file.

- one of the best new tab extensions I’ve tried. It’s clean, fast, and actually useful without being overloaded with unnecessary features. I really like the bookmark boards, especially being able to organize different links into separate boards and pin the ones I use most. The notes and focus timer are also surprisingly useful for keeping everything in one place. The wallpapers, colors, and fonts make it feel much more personal too. And the fact that there’s no account, ads, or tracking is a huge plus. Overall, it’s a really polished extension that makes the new tab page way more useful while still keeping it simple. Definitely worth trying if you like having your browser organized.

- EshaalTab is a great replacement for Chrome’s default New Tab page, especially if you want a cleaner and more personal workspace in your browser. Instead of simply showing shortcuts, it provides useful tools for organising bookmarks, managing tasks, taking quick notes, and keeping frequently visited websites easily accessible. One of my favourite features is the bookmark board system, which makes it simple to organise saved links into different categories. You can also pin important links to the Home view for quick access. The ability to save the current page directly from the toolbar, keyboard shortcut, or context menu makes bookmarking particularly convenient. The Ctrl+K search is another useful addition for quickly finding saved links. EshaalTab also goes beyond bookmarks by offering open-tab and history searching when the optional permissions are enabled. The customisation options are impressive, with different colours, fonts, layouts, and wallpaper choices, including images and videos. The built-in notes, tasks, and focus timer are useful for staying organised without opening additional apps. Privacy is another strong point. There is no account, advertising, analytics, or developer server, and AI search is optional and disabled by default. Overall, EshaalTab is a practical, customisable, and privacy-focused New Tab replacement that combines productivity and personalisation without unnecessary clutter.

- A really useful extension, This tab extension makes browsing so much easier and more organized. It has a clean design, is simple to use, and adds features that I didn’t realize I needed until I started using it. Everything feels smooth and lightweight without getting in the way.
