A browser companion for OpenWeird.com, a weird website portal for random web discovery when you’re bored.
OpenWeird Terminal is a small browser extension for OpenWeird.com.
It helps you get back to OpenWeird quickly. You can click the "Locate Portal" button, use a keyboard shortcut, or turn on "Portal Checkpoint" so the extension finds your existing OpenWeird tab instead of opening the same page again and again.
OpenWeird.com is a weird website portal for discovering random websites when you’re bored or just looking for a dopamine rush. It sends you to strange, funny, old-school, playful, useless, experimental, and sometimes horror-themed pages from around the web. If you miss the old StumbleUpon-style feeling of clicking into unknown parts of the internet, OpenWeird Terminal keeps that kind of random web discovery close.
The extension does not open random external websites directly. It only brings you to OpenWeird.com. It does not track your browsing history, does not collect personal data, and does not use analytics inside the extension. Local stats stay on your device. New OpenWeird tabs opened by the extension use standard campaign parameters so OpenWeird.com can count visits from the extension.
