Hat sich für mich erledigt. Auf die angegebene Mail-Adresse antwortet keiner. SecurePass ist deinstalliert! Bitdefender Premium Sicherheit Abo deaktiviert! Lt. diverser Fachliteratur gibt es besseres! Als Passwortmanager habe ich Bitwarden installiert. Schade Bitdefender. Nach mindestens 20 Jahren auf mehreren Rechnern war's das dann!

- (2025-04-16) Werner: funktioniert ja überhaupt nicht , öffnet sich nicht automatisch obwohl er anzeigt aktiv , das aktivieren haut überhaupt nicht hin , man landet immer nur der Bewerterseite , ätzend den support erreich man auch so gut wie nie hättet ihr bloss den alten safe gelassen was muss man machen damit das funktioniert ich hab die schnautze voll , man bezahlt so viel Geld für Bitdefender und nix geht werde kündigen , kann keine seite mehr öffnen weil alle Paßwörter weg sind

- (2025-04-04) Ralf: Kann mich der Bewertung von Radostin nur anschließen: Bei Eingabe des Masterpasswortes, das beim Passwortmanager reibungslos funktioniert, meldet SecurePass nur einen Fehler. Angeblich ist das Masterpasswort falsch. Schlechte Umsetzung!!
- (2025-03-28) Charles: I received instructions for installation of SecurePass from an agent at Bitdefender that were useless. I tried the instructions from Bitdefender Total Security (pages 247-262 and still can't get it to work. I get as far as 7.3.2 1. on page 251. I can't locate the "more" that is referred to in the app. This seems to be useless. Why did they eliminate Password Manager without providing an email with instructions for the changeover? Very disappointing at the moment. I find no value to it. It is like parking a car that you can't use, and you can't even open the door. SecurePass is absolutely useless to me at this moment. With the assistance of Representative Bianca of Bitdefender support and her patience I finally have it installed with my passwords in SecurePass. Now I just have to figure out how to use it. She has provided me with some instructions in an email. I will see how that goes.
- (2025-03-26) Radostin: Bitdefender SecurePass gekauft. Die Installation über Bitdefender Zentral eine einzige Katastrophe. Keine Eingabe funktioniert. Nach unzähligen Mühen dann die ernüchternde Feststellung, dass Daten von Bitdefender Password Manager in Bitdefender SecurePass nicht automatisch abgerufen und übertragen werden können. Nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

- (2025-03-07) David: Terrible product. Do not buy. I had Bitdefender Password Manager and it worked great. When I went to a website, it would populate all the fields without any issues. This product, however, does not populate anything. I can usually get the password to fill in by clicking on the Bitdefender logo in the password field, but the username never populates. In addition, if there is an eye logo so you can see your password on the website, the program will not fill in a password. I have been using it like an excel file with usernames and passwords. That is all this program is good for. It is so disappointing. I will be switching to another password manager soon.
- (2025-02-13) Dennis: Not an upgrade to BitD PW manager (Previous manager). I have to force everything manually. Almost never adds in passwords automatically. Does not update or transfer PW to my other devices like it should. I have to export/import any chages using .csv files in order to update Securepass. If you. With that said. it is nice that I can just click open securepass in a browser and copy my PW or ID quickly once I have set everything up manually. One star for being slightly better than a notepad and pencil next to my desk full of passwords.

- (2025-02-11) Peter: Wie kann man es nur schaffen mit jedem Update noch schlechter zu werden?? Bitdefender ist das beste Beispiel. Bitdefender war mit seiner Geldbörse gut zu handhaben, und musste diese durch den Passwortmanager ersetzen - leider ohne entsprechende Bedienungsanleitungen zum Wechsel oder entsprechend geschultes Personal. Nachdem das massive Unzufriedenheit generiert hat versucht man nun durch die schlechteste Implementierung von Fremdsoftware die man sich nur vorstellen kann die letzten treuen Kunden auch noch zu vergraulen. Wo ist Eure QA? Schon mal was von Usability gehört? Einfach mal nachschauen Google kann es Euch erklären. Würde Dreckstools noch gepflegt - Ihr wäret bei den Top 10 ! Wie kann jemand seine Kunden, zu Ihrer 'Sicherheit' , 2x auf neue Software zwingen mit unverschlüsselten Datenexports??? Integration in die eigene Software funktioniert nicht im Secure Browser - ich will den Passwort Manager zurück und Ihr verbietet es mir? Kein weiteres ABO - neuer Anbieter !

- (2025-02-08) Warren: I moved on from Bitdefender Password Manager to Secure Pass, expecting an upgrade and more features but instead got a password manager that takes somewhere between 30 and 90 seconds to provide your password autofill data. Entirely unacceptable. Will be moving on to another password manager. Extremely disappointed Bitdefender would put on such a poor product without thorough testing.
- (2025-02-06) Hans-Jürgen: So leid es mit tut, ich habe mehrfach versucht das 3-Monate-Probe-ABO einzuladen. Der Download wird jedes Mal kurz vor Ende abgebrochen. Es funktioniert nicht. Weder auf dem neuen WINDOW11 Computer noch auf meinem alten WINDOWS10 Note-Book.
- (2025-01-31) Jordan: I'm cancelling my subscription and finding a new password manager. It isn't acceptable to make the working extension (Bitdefender Password Manager) unavailable for the Edge browser. Now my other devices are out of sync with accounts I have updated here because Bitdefender Password Manager and Bitdefender SecurePass vaults are separate. This extension also forces login even if a browser session has been kept fresh, is slow to bring up matching accounts, and doesn't update account passwords when a new password is added.

- (2025-01-18) Tyler: horrible, wish I never paid for secure pass for the year. but felt like I did not have a choice due to wallet being discontinued. it does not update passwords, does not offer to save passwords and half the time does not populate on many websites that wallet worked just fine on. constantly makes me sign in on the website before I can put my password in secure pass to access my vault, frankly that is quite annoying........ please fix these issues asap or I will be going elsewhere and not using Bitdefender products any longer. and I have used Bitdefender for several years now

The password prompts are often blocked by autofill drop down boxes or the box doesn't stay present long enough click your password. Overall I think this product needed much more work before releasing. Update: Jan 16 2025 - and still no improvements. Super delayed or never prompts to autofill passwords. -Does not pop-up to update a password.

The product needs to be reevaluated by the developers so that it is usable to those who are not that savvy with recovery methods that do not work the way they should.

- (2024-12-18) Paul: This extension is the WORST EVER!!! After using LastPass and even Bitdefender Password Manager, this extension does NOT work. It won't sign in to allow you access to your vault, it doesn't auto fill websites that you frequent, and it's "interface" just seems to change at will. STAY AWAY, STAY VERY FAR AWAY!!!
