Local classification and custom rules
Keyword weighting or local vector similarity matching can be utilized without the need for AI.
You can create and delete classification folders, and maintain keywords separately for each folder.
Supports input with spaces, Chinese or English commas, semicolons, and line breaks; English double quotation marks can retain phrases with spaces.
After adding new categories or modifying rules, existing SmartFav collections will be rechecked.
Collection management
"My Collection" and "Category Folders" utilize separate and compact interfaces.
The collection is displayed as cards, showcasing titles, categories, and website domains.
Both category folders and bookmarks within categories support sorting through mouse dragging and pressing Alt + arrow keys.
A single bookmark within a category can be transferred across categories through the "Move" menu.
Deleted content is moved to "Recently Deleted", where it is retained for 7 days by default. It can be restored or permanently deleted immediately.
The pop-up window width and height, five interface styles, light and dark modes, and custom background images can all be adjusted.
Browser bookmark synchronization
When adding or deleting items in SmartFav, the browser's SmartFav section/categories can be synchronized and maintained.
After creating a bookmark in the browser, it can automatically acquire, categorize, and notify the target folder through system notifications.
When the browser deletes the last bookmark with the same URL, the corresponding SmartFav bookmark will be moved to the "Recently Deleted" folder.
After enabling synchronization, manually adjusted categories and bookmark orders will be written back to the browser favorites.
When moving bookmarks between SmartFav browser and categories, the SmartFav categories will be updated in real time.
Before batch sorting and automatic moving, a layout backup can be created, and it supports preview, restoration, JSON import, and export.
Synchronization and organization are disabled by default. SmartFav only reads or moves browser bookmarks after the user enables the corresponding function; sorting and writing back only moves existing SmartFav managed items, does not create empty folders, and does not alter bookmarks outside the SmartFav directory.
