Automatically pause background media when playing something else, then resume when done
Tired of manually pausing your music every time you want to watch a video?
AutoPause solves this everyday annoyance. When you start playing a video or audio in your active tab, it automatically pauses media playing in other tabs. When you pause or finish watching, your background music resumes right where it left off.
HOW IT WORKS
• Play a YouTube video → your Spotify, SoundCloud, or other background music pauses automatically
• Pause or finish the video → your music resumes
• No configuration needed - just install and forget
PERFECT FOR
• Listening to music while browsing, without audio overlap when watching videos
• Keeping podcasts paused during video calls
• Avoiding the awkward moment when two audio sources play at once
SMART FEATURES
• Only triggers when the video actually has audio (silent videos won't pause your music)
• Works with YouTube mini-player - music stays paused while video continues
• Shows how many tabs are currently paused
• Manual resume button if needed
PRIVACY FOCUSED
• No data collection
• No external servers
• Works entirely in your browser
Simple. Automatic. Just works.

- I want to mimic androids media autopause (pause later one if another is playing) and this extension is flawless at that. works as intended. I would highly appreciate it if you could share the source code or a link to the repository on the extension page.
