Why tailor your resume?

Recruiters often scan resumes in seconds. Generic resumes can bury the experience most relevant to a specific role, while differences in terminology can make strong candidates harder to recognise.

Tailoring your resume to each application can:
• Highlight the experience most relevant to the role
• Align your resume with recruiter and ATS terminology
• Reduce unrelated signals that weaken role fit
• Help recruiters recognise suitability more quickly

Resume Adapter helps automate this process while keeping you fully in control.

How it works

1. Capture the job advert - Use the Chrome extension on supported job sites to instantly import the role into Resume Adapter.
2. Select your resume - Choose the resume you want to tailor for the role.
3. Review suggested changes - Resume Adapter generates targeted suggestions based on the job advert. You can review, accept, reject, or edit every change before export.
4. Export your tailored resume - Export a tailored DOCX resume while preserving your original formatting.
