• (2023-12-17) Daniel Roda: La última versión (v1.41) no funciona bien, al dar con el botón derecho en obtener/añadir a Chrome no sale la opción de decargar el CRX. Recomiendo, si se puede, deshabilitar la actualización automática de los complementos o al menos, de éste, y quedarse en la versión 1.40. Si no se puede, descargar la versión 1.40, descomprimirla y añadirla en modo desarrollador para que así no se actualice. Es lo que he tenido que hacer en Slimjet. Tampoco funciona, al menos la versión 1.40 que yo tengo, en la nueva tienda de Chrome. Pero claro, tendría q arriesgarme a actualizarla ahora antes de que en enero de 2024 borren la tienda antigua...

• (2022-06-23) RoboCop Police (RoboCop): no funciona correctamente, se deshabilita a cada momento del uso, no coloca el nombre de la extensión que se descarga, o sea, es un asco esta porqueria, cuando la van a reparar????? !!

• (2021-05-05) roger li: chrome90上，get crx扶墙下，下载插件有时候无法识别，需要多点几次，才会显示正确的crx。而且明明chrome勾选了记录上次保存路径，插件依然只能保存到默认路径，不能记录上次路径。

• (2021-02-11) Will Brown: For me i cant get it to work at all the only crx extention i can get is on this page no other pages does it give the option when right clicking. I have it pinned to the tool bar top right and when i click on it it takes me to the chrome add on page as if i havnt downloaded it stating.... Please go to chrome.google.com and go to extension page to download chrome extensions. Any help appreciated

• (2020-02-22) Thomas Stone: From Chrome's Extension Manager, I clicked Details on the extension and then "View in Chrome Web Store" to get onto the extension's installer page. I was able to right-click anywhere in the background to get the standard right-click menu (Back, Forward, Reload) but with an option to "Get CRX of this extension" toward the bottom. The name of the extension was correct, unlike another CRX downloader I tried.

• (2018-07-21) Tony Roger: Hi Team, 2 issues with the latest version(Version: 1.22): 1. it saves the name in the format of "extension_version.crx", i tried 3 different extensions, all share the same issue, though i noticed in the User Reviews that it has the format of the extension name already, so i don't know why it doesn't function as expected. 2. it can't save the "try & paid" extension, it only show "main" as the file name after i click the "Get CRX of this extension" in the context menu of the extension page(i've tried several times of this operation), so there's the dismatch with what advertised "Instantly get .crx source file of any Chrome extension via right click context menu.", "any"? i doubt about this word. you can test this point by this paid extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mint-date-range/ndgpkdndeiehpgihohneegnmcdflpbmd?hl=en-US Thanks for possible improvement.

For some reason, some combination of Chrome and the Web Store sometimes take days to push extension updates after they're published, even if I go in developer mode and push the button to check for updates. This extension allows me to get the Chrome Web Store validated files and update the extensions myself.

And you gave this link to your so-called safe extension. So why does it not download the current CRX file?

  This is a fantastic extension. The only issue I have encountered with it is that if a Chrome extension has an emoji in it's title, the "Get CRX of this extension" returns: Error: Failed saving ___ 🦸‍♂️.crx: Invalid filename.

  Chrome 73.0.3683.75+ requires that externally loaded (registry or drag-n-drop) CRXs use version 3 of the file format. This extension download only CRX 2 format, because of prodversion=32 in the URL.   trying to install this now requires access to downloads & browsing history. it would help if the overview page explained why these permissions are now necessary. i know it's because you're asking for "tabs" in order to access the title field and that's how Chrome bubbles permissions, but it doesn't change that the Chrome prompt is confusing: why would it possibly need history to download a file ?

  Chrome and my anti virus apps won't allow your extension to be loaded due to 'This extension includes malware.' So when I go to leave a review on the Chrome Web Store, it says 'Load ext to leave review.' So not only can I not review it, but it can't load, and seems locked, unable to be deleted - stuck or broke? Will keep trying.
