• (2023-12-04) Katie Bednar: I made an account with Scener roughly a year ago for my long distance relationship, I then canceled my subscription and my account at the beginning of last summer (roughly 8 months ago). Scener no longer acknowledges my account as existing nor has it since I've canceled my membership, however they continued to charge my account for 8 months. Once I realized this and verified that I no longer had an account I called three times and never once was there a person to talk to or a voicemail box. I emailed them and a week later they told me that they canceled my subscription for me and erased my card information but refused to refund me even though my account hasn't been active or existent for the better half of a year. I do not recommend, it is a total scam.

• (2023-04-29) Victoria Mendez: i used to love this and used it all the time with my friends, but ever since they introduced the premium option, it has become nearly unusable. most of the websites that are available simply won't sync, and there are way too many bugs and issues. instead of making me want to pay for the subscription, it just pushes me to stop using this altogether

Even the pause function didn't work. Again if you want to watch it, just sync up on your own devices and just communicate rather than installing this .

When you sign up, you only type your password and email 1 time so there is no verification that you did not have a typo in your login information. There is no confirmation email that you did sign up (not even in spam). Since there was no help signing in I attempted to create a new account and that failed too with no given reason. I guess Scener was not prepared for the mass of viewers ready to watch Stranger Things tonight.

  I usually host watch-parties with the Metastream extension and was interested in using Scener due to its implentation of having webcams. Although the problem with Scener is that I can only choose streaming services that are shown, and if I wanted to use a custom link, it seems to mostly limit to those services available. I was hoping the Custom Link would go to any site, outside from the popular streaming services like Metastream. And with that, I was also curious if Scener can sync chrome extensions like Metastream can, because I can then use Adblock on the site without distractions. Hope this gets added so that I can watch whatever media/site with my friends without their distracting ads.
