this is literally the worst app I have ever used. I truly don't understand how someone can make something so bad. Like I am actually concerned that someone made this and thought "oh perfect! this is what the people want!" My life and I mean this most sincerely is worse because of this apps existence.

Constantly disconnects

constant ads, constantly have to reload and restart to stay watching together. Worse than Teleparty which is crazy because Teleparty also BARELY works most of the time.

Don't turn on your cameras and you'll be able to watch what you want, but you will get sync issues if you keep them on.

I wanted it to work so badly, but it only ever did a few times. My boyfriend and I could not get ours to sync, and he would get ads when I wouldn't. It constantly glitches, and refreshing does not help. Very disappointing.

Absolutely horrible, does not sync, none of the buttons actually do anything. My girlfriend and I used this to watch amazon prime, she was in the UK and I was in the US. She was watching adds while I wasn't and our stream wouldn't sync up so it was impossible to use.

Sometimes there is a bit of delay, sometimes you have to refresh, besides that it works very very well with netflix and disney!

This app is starting to ruin date nights because of how often it bugs. It honestly barely works and heaven forbid if you don't have the same ads it makes it almost impossible to fix the sync. Literally find any other way to stream stuff together

The app was solid for over 2yrs easy to use and somewhat set & be decently okay with leaving unattended for a time. Now streaming via Scener has become so bad & spotty. YT syncing is terrible cutting off the connection with the host to the YT session after about 12 or so MVs and manually watching videos on YT with scener is even more of a chore with constant freezes after abt 30min of watch time, both hosts & watchers have issues with staying properly synced and browsers locking up entirely. It seems scener is somehow 'forgetting' or losing it's place after a while. This has been ongoing problem since August 2024. Had hope it'd been fixed via a recent update from support that they resolved an application error issue that was also happening on the main website after you closed the scener stream window but alas still terrible syncing problem with YT via Scener such that it's become nearly unusable and we've had to stop doing lengthy streaming parties because of it as Hosts literally must be tied to their device to be sure the stream actually keeps going. Please fix this.

so hard to make it actually work. my friends join but they cant see what playing . so bad and sucks at syncing. plus u have to pay for everything which is such a joke like why so desperate for money..

You cant even see each other when u watch a movie and thats the whole point? you want me to comment "this part of the movie was so fun lol"???? it's not funny anymore though cause that happened 3 seconds ago since it took me so long to type it. Im sorry we are a broke couple. BUT you should be Sorry for lying. I HATE liars

3 class website i cant even watch it peacefully with me friends.. we have been figuring from 2 hours how to handle it.. dont use this 3 class aplication very disappointed from thiss

I like scener! my long distance boyfriend and I have been using it for more than 2 years to watch movies and shows together. Despite the reconnecting or like the errors, I still find it easier to navigate than other streaming platforms.

It's great WHEN it's working. no lagging, synced with others in watch party. When it's not working, it's musty, old, sweaty socks. I'm updated on Chrome and the extension. I really want to like this, but it's too finicky.

It was great but has been a lot of lagging and connection issues for the past few months, especially with the syncing problem and still no fixing so far.

A guaranteed disappointment every time.

Used to be very solid and pretty reliable but has become almost entirely unusable in the last few months. Will consistently drop connections to streaming services, will not press play on one computer at all, etc.
