• (2025-04-30) Samir Joshi: Absolutely horrible, does not sync, none of the buttons actually do anything. My girlfriend and I used this to watch amazon prime, she was in the UK and I was in the US. She was watching adds while I wasn't and our stream wouldn't sync up so it was impossible to use.

• (2025-02-25) Illegirl: The app was solid for over 2yrs easy to use and somewhat set & be decently okay with leaving unattended for a time. Now streaming via Scener has become so bad & spotty. YT syncing is terrible cutting off the connection with the host to the YT session after about 12 or so MVs and manually watching videos on YT with scener is even more of a chore with constant freezes after abt 30min of watch time, both hosts & watchers have issues with staying properly synced and browsers locking up entirely. It seems scener is somehow 'forgetting' or losing it's place after a while. This has been ongoing problem since August 2024. Had hope it'd been fixed via a recent update from support that they resolved an application error issue that was also happening on the main website after you closed the scener stream window but alas still terrible syncing problem with YT via Scener such that it's become nearly unusable and we've had to stop doing lengthy streaming parties because of it as Hosts literally must be tied to their device to be sure the stream actually keeps going. Please fix this.

• (2024-12-10) Ann Wormwood: 1 star is being generous right now as the app is terribly functioning for YouTube streaming. Disconnects from the YT app happen about ever 12 videos you watch in a playlist & manually looking at videos with friends on YT w/ Scener is even worse with barely 30min of playtime before the entire session locks up on the host and watchers lock up as well randomly and are left out of sync with the host playing videos from hours ago if they do not reload the session. Support contacts to try to get this issue fixed, that's been happening since August 2024, have been unproductive & the "support" team now doesn't even respond to e-mails asking for updates on this issue. We've had to completely stop our extended streaming parties because the service is near unusable and a burden on hosts. Unfortunately, at this time there is no other app that allows theater rooms & co-host functions such as scener so our team is forced to work around this issue when we must use Scener by constantly baby-sitting the app so people can keep watching. When will this be fixed scener team? If you've given up in supporting this app in favor of your teleparty application at least do us all a favor & inform users of a sunset date of this service.
