Description from store Help protect web users by reporting suspicious sites you see in Chrome to Google Safe Browsing. Google Safe Browsing helps protect over four billion devices every day from threats like phishing and malware by showing warnings to users when they attempt to navigate to dangerous sites or download dangerous files. Help Safe Browsing protect web users by reporting suspicious sites. With the Suspicious Site Reporter extension, you’ll see an icon when you’re on a potentially suspicious site. Clicking the icon shows additional site information that may be considered when determining if the site is suspicious or not. Most of the time this extension will not be used and I would not like it to track a bunch of sites I visit.

(2023-01-26) Brandon Trentham-Guest: Worlds most pointless app, I can see this information without the need for this, literally just double click the hot bar and you see the protocol, use CMD prompt and a website for the IP (internal and external), simply use an antivirus with decent rapport for web shielding and decent firewall for most tasks, F12 works for most browsers and lets you see the HTML, java script, CSS, and often even has said referrer chain (the way you got to the sight via redirect or otherwise) and even if none of that existed, There are at least 3 apps that does this apps job and more.

'not in the top 5k'? that's just a note. it tells you that the site that you are reporting isn't in the top 5k of sites. which leads into 2. do you really think that this is supposed to _tell_ you if a site is suspicious? that's for you to figure out. the whole purpose of this extension is to tell google that a site is suspicious so they can take action. it's not an antivirus or smth. it's a crowd-sourced tool to determine the legitimacy of websites. 3. always show full urls bs. that's just to help you see the site. http vs https, subdomains, etc. it's available through normal chrome too

This also glitches my chrome I wish I never downloaded this extension. After all this extension is actually useless. It doesn't report this site, it just copy and paste the URL into the extension and doesn't do anything after that. This is a useless extension. If this extension is really just here to take up some space for your computer well then "Nice Job".

(2021-01-19) Pavel Kann: had to install the extension 'cause Chrome team has decided to hide the schema http/http from the URL bar and it became a pain in the (_!_) to copy paste or reuse urls when I do need a part of url. Moreover they had even removed the corresponding flag to opt out of this schitty change.
