I used to use loom but then it pulled that Screencastify on us and I couldn't even film my YouTube videos for about a week cause I was searching for a new app and then I stumbled across this and this app is amazing. In extension UI there are at least 2,3 links to drift.com to bring you into the funnel of using their other services. But not help you complete your goal. So annoying.

I'm an AE, so often times have clients who ask for a video of a feature to share with their boss, and I like to send a thank you video to new clients that signed up with me. Other competitive offerings are useful, but I really value the fact that Drift lets me know how long my prospect viewed the video for, and it's a much simpler workflow to create and post video on the fly. Love it!

Then I started recording my programming work, independent design projects and sending them to my advisors and mentors and it really helped them see where I needed improvement. I really love the versatility of Drift I can still record one specific window and work on the many other projects I have in another non-recorded window... OR GO NUTS and document everything I do. Even caught my neighbor spying on me while I was working back faced to the office window... SUPER HELPFUL WICKED FUN... AND NO CRAZY LEARNING CURVE. The User Interface is very friendly to the novice and even offers some capabilities for geeks like me who want to go for its full capability.Can't say enough great things about my experience with Drift. Did I mention the option of keeping the snippets to myself or sharing with the world... everyone is getting a Drift Vid from me this holiday season. - (2019-07-12) Love this from Drift. 🚀 As a sales guy, I'm always trying to stay on top of how people prefer to communicate. The phone has dropped down in the pecking order and it's only going one way with robocalls and cold calls. I'm a huge believer in video and it's gotten me a lot of positive results in the past. Between Zoom, Email, and Video, you've got a pretty solid stack to talk to people in the channels they actually want to spend time in.
