Unsere Erweiterung ermöglicht das Herunterladen von Videos von Vimeo ™ (vimeo.com) mit einem einzigen Klick sowie von jeder anderen Website, auf der eingebettete Videos platziert werden.
Die Vimeo ™ Video Downloader-Erweiterung fügt der Videoseite, der Videoliste und dem eingebetteten Video die Schaltfläche "Herunterladen" hinzu. Klicken Sie einfach auf den Download-Button und wählen Sie die Qualität des gewünschten Videos.

Wie es funktioniert:
Auf der Hauptseite von vimeo.com:
Zeigen Sie mit dem Cursor auf das Miniaturbild des Videos und Sie sehen die Schaltfläche "Herunterladen" in der oberen linken Ecke (ein Pfeil nach unten). Nachdem Sie auf diese Schaltfläche geklickt haben, wählen Sie eine der Download-Optionen (siehe Screenshots auf der Web Store-Seite der Erweiterung).
Vimeo-Video (wenn nur ein Video verfügbar ist):
Zeigen Sie mit dem Cursor auf das Video-Miniaturbild, und in der oberen rechten Ecke wird die Schaltfläche "Herunterladen" angezeigt (ein Pfeil nach unten). Nachdem Sie auf diese Schaltfläche geklickt haben, wählen Sie eine der Download-Optionen (siehe Screenshots auf der Web Store-Seite der Erweiterung).
Vimeo-Video einbinden:
Sie können Videos direkt von eingebetteten Vimeo-Playern herunterladen.
Zeigen Sie mit dem Cursor auf das Video-Miniaturbild, und in der oberen rechten Ecke wird die Schaltfläche "Herunterladen" angezeigt (ein Pfeil nach unten). Nachdem Sie auf diese Schaltfläche geklickt haben, wählen Sie eine der Download-Optionen (siehe Screenshots auf der Web Store-Seite der Erweiterung).
Wenn die Schaltfläche "Herunterladen" nicht angezeigt wurde (der Grund könnte eine website-spezifische Methode zum Einbetten von Vimeo-Videos sein) - starten Sie die Wiedergabe des Videos und danach wird die Schaltfläche "Herunterladen" angezeigt und der Download ist verfügbar.
Herunterladen mit dem Popup-Symbol:
Zum Herunterladen von Vimeo-Videodateien verfügbare Dateien werden angezeigt, wenn Sie auf das Popup-Symbol der Erweiterung klicken.
Die auf dem Popup-Symbol der Erweiterung angezeigte Nummer entspricht der Anzahl der Videos, die auf der Seite heruntergeladen werden können.
Bitte beachten Sie: Wir erweitern Ihren Browser nur um Download-Buttons und wenn das Video nicht in der gewünschten Qualität verfügbar ist, liegt es nicht an uns.
Das Video ist in schlechter Qualität verfügbar: In der Regel tritt eine schlechte Qualität auf, wenn der Autor das Video zum ersten Mal in schlechter Qualität hochlädt.

So I uninstalled the extension and the behavior stopped. This is malware, don't install it.
