Description from store SnipCSS extracts all CSS styles associated with any portion of a webpage. It works on all websites, and after a few clicks you get the CSS, HTML and Images associated with the section of the website you are trying to recreate. ANY COOL DESIGN YOU SEE ON THE WEB CAN BE YOUR PERSONAL TEMPLATE FOR QUICK PROTOTYPING! ======================================== If you tried to do the same by copying/pasting by hand it would probably take 20 minutes, but with SnipCSS you can select and get all styles including ones with media queries in under a minute. I even use it on sections of websites I created myself in other projects, so I can get a quick reusable HTML/CSS component to plug into my new project. Unlike other CSS extractor extensions that use "Computed Styles", SnipCSS uses the Chrome DevTools protocol. Just like when you use devtools you see a list of associated styles, SnipCSS reconstructs that list for each element in the subtree of the DOM snippet. All images, fonts and everything else needed for the design is downloaded, and you can easily export all the files into a zip file. Love this tools and the free version is awesome. It helps a lot for designing websites as you can see the code that other websites use and model your code off of that.

(2022-03-24) Scott Riley: I don't know why other people are complaining that this extension doesn't work. It works perfectly and flawlessly! If the icon disappears, you have to click on the "puzzle piece" icon in the top right of your browser to show all the hidden extensions.

I like what you did in ths extension. But today, I saw that it's not working anymore. There's some warning in chrome extension ("Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking 'touchstart' event. Consider marking event handler as 'passive' to make the page more responsive."). But the tool is not showing.

Hi there, is this extension still working? It doesn't for me. After I click on the icon from the toolbar the page does not refresh and I do not get the red button RUN SNIP CSS nor I can select any element on the page. Thanks

Very cool extension and I've been trying the Pro desktop app version. The Chromium browser window isn't loading at all for me when I create snippet in browser, I get an empty browser window :( Also, are you still going to release the Pro version Chrome extension? I would very much like to try that! Thank you.
