Description from store Are you using Oracle's OpenAir product to enter timesheets? Creating timesheets can be very laborious. Doing so is much easier when you combine the Toggl time tracking application with the the Toggl to OpenAir Timesheets (T2OT) Chrome extension. Toggl makes time tracking easy with its various application forms: desktop, mobile, and web. Seriously, I tried notebooks, Microsoft Outlook, even my own custom application, and nothing made it easier than Toggl. You may check out Toggl at their website: https://toggl.com. With Toggl keeping track of your time, T2OT makes creating a timesheet as simple as clicking a button. . .seriously. . .well maybe two buttons. Using existing OpenAir timesheets, T2OT allows you to import the projects and tasks into Toggl. This makes getting started with Toggl a breeze and makes for better integration to OpenAir. Regardless of the Toggl plan, T2OT has several features built-in to make creating timesheets easy. T2OT has automatic time rounding to the nearest quarter hour. T2OT allows you to setup projects as billable. When you are ready to create your timesheet for the week, simply login to OpenAir, navigate to the timesheets section, create a new timesheet, click the T2OT Chrome extension icon, and click Create! After a few seconds while Pacman chomps on the numbers, you are left with a complete timesheet ready to be submitted for approval. It used to take me hours and hours each month to submit my timesheets. With the Toggl to OpenAir Timesheet Chrome extension, I am done in minutes! This is a Google Chrome Extension that provides a way to create a timesheet in OpenAir based on tracking data in Toggl ------------------------------------- PRE-REQUISITES This requires the following to be useful: - Toggl for tracking your time (https://toggl.com) - OpenAir for submitting a timesheet (https://www.openair.com) ------------------------------------- INSTRUCTIONS TRACKING TIME WITH TOGGL: 1) Download Toggl 2) Create or import Clients and Projects--synonymous with Projects and Tasks in OpenAir - If purchased, use the billable feature in Toggl to mark projects as billable; otherwise, adding "Billable" to Projects, e.g. Billable Task, billable task, My Project - billable, My Project [Billable], or a time entry's Tags treat that time as billable - Import Clients and Projects using an existing timesheet in OpenAir and the TogglToOpenAir instructions 3) Start using Toggl to track time IMPORTING OPENAIR PROJECTS AND TASKS INTO TOGGL: 1) Go to OpenAir 2) Open a completed timesheet 3) Click the TogglToOpenAir icon in the toolbar 4) Go to Toggl to get the Toggl API key--this can be found at the bottom of the Toggl Profile 5) Copy and paste the API key into the appropriate textbox back in the Chrome Extension 6) Specify the workspace if you have more than one 7) Click the here link in the instructions 8) Review response and verify the results CREATING AN OPENAIR TIMESHEET WITH TOGGL DATA: 1) Go to OpenAir 2) Create a brand new timesheet 3) Click the TogglToOpenAir icon in the toolbar 4) Go to Toggl to get the Toggl API key--this can be found at the bottom of the Toggl Profile 5) Copy and paste the API key into the appropriate textbox in the Chrome Extension 6) Choose one or more workspaces from which time is to be added from Toggl 7) Specify the start date--by default it is the first date without time entries in a timesheet 8) Specify how time entries should be rounded--by default, rounding is _None_: - All: all entries are rounded to the nearest quarter hour, i.e. 15 minutes, with any time less than 15 minutes being rounded up - Billable only: all billable entries are rounded up to the nearest quarter hour - None: time is not rounded 9) Specify if time entries should be grouped by task or description--by default, group by description 10) Click the Sync Time Records! button 11) Review any errors and verify the results

I have followed the instructions and it does not work. Please help!
  • (2023-02-24, v:1.0.23) Robert DaSilva: Error 'Unable to determine the response for sendTimesheetData' when submitting
I've configured my Toggl to have clients = OpenAir Projects, and projects = OpenAir Tasks. When I go to an un-submitted OpenAir timesheet, and I click the 'Sync Time Records' button, I am getting the following error at the top of my screen: Unable to determine the response for sendTimesheetData. The extension has my correct API token, it can see my correct workspace, but fails to input the data into the OpenAir timesheet.
  • (2022-03-16, v:1.0.23) Nelson W: Can we remap toggl titles into the "notes" field on Openair?
Is there an option to instead of putting the toggl titles for each task, into the description field on openair, but instead to the Notes field instead (my company made this field required instead of the description).
  • (2022-02-09, v:1.0.23) Jeff Alway: Client and Project Mapping?
Hi, and thanks so much for putting in the work for this add in. It has a great amount of potential for my use case. Based on the description, it appears you're mapping the key fields as below: Openair Project -> Toggl Client Openair Task-> Toggle Project Is this accurate? Personally, my use case would be Openair project - toggl Project Openair client - toggl Client Openair task - toggl Task I know openair displays project and client in the same field for some god awful reason, so I wonder if this plays into the decision. But, ultimately I was wondering if there were any plans to add more flexibility to how you're mapping the fields, in hopes that one day my use case would be covered. Regardless, thanks for taking the time to read and respond.
  • (2021-09-30, v:1.0.18) Robert Powell: OA project/task export
Earlier steps say go to a completed timesheet, however when I go to an approved timesheet the browser plugin popup doesn't show. It only shows when the timesheet is new and even then - there is no "here link" to click. 7) Click the here link in the instructions Are the export steps up to date?
  • (2021-08-19, v:1.0.18) Fabian Kaiser: Error: Unable to determine the response for getProjects
Unfortunately, when trying to set it up, I ran into two issues. First one is that your extension cannot get the workspaces from Toggl (Error 1). The second issue is that the import of projects and tasks from OpenAir to Toggl results in the below Error 2. Error 1: Error getting workspaces => 0, error, Error 2: Unable to determine the response for getProjects Many thanks for your help!
  • (2020-07-02, v:1.0.17) Christoph Berger: Unable to determine the response for getProjects
Hi, This is a super cool extension, exactly what I need. However, after adding the API key and selecting the Toggl workspace, when I click Import Projects, I get this error message: "Unable to determine the response for getProjects". And nothing else happens. Is this a bug, or missing privileges at OpenAir or Toggl side?
  • (2019-11-10, v:1.0.11) Gene Rugg: Notes vs Description
Very interesting plugin - thank you for builing it! The plugin brings across Toggl text into the "description" field. For our particular system, it is the "notes" field that is usually required. Is there a trivial way to copy to there instead/as well? Just incase - it is a second dialogControlGroup, with a "textarea name='note'"
