• (2024-03-03) Florence Yeung: 24-09 Update: Like many others, I was very disappointed with the change in the business model where you need a monthly fee in order to get more than 5 workspaces. However, I really appreciate that the company has taken notice of users' reviews and have allowed for an extended period for us to adjust to either using 5 workspaces/another extension for our tabs. Totally understand that the company needs to somehow earn money but it's a hefty monthly fee. However, I do really like the features and will still recommend it to people who don't need many workspaces. Mid Sept Update: Was great until it suddenly decided to set a pretty strict limit my usage with the "premium" paid version 2023 Update: Very disappointed - when restarting my laptop, Workona does not automatically sign on. Once signed on, all windows and tabs within Chrome restarts and the workspaces reloads. As a result, you get both workspaces and the Chrome tabs previously opens. Sometimes Workona combines the ones they recognise have been repeated and closes the most updated Chrome tabs and replaces it with the workspaces saved and it causes MANY tabs I have previously opened to be gone into the ether. It is a mess. 2024 Update: Every time I restart my laptop, if I manually close all the tabs first, then it works fine, although occasionally, I notice that some of my most recent tabs/sites won't be saved in my workspaces (though does not happen often).

• (2023-11-20) Ian Joseph: Very useful and convenient as a pseudo home base to keep all your tasks and related information grouped together for easy access. Being able to move Tabs to the necessary Workspace is pivotal. I rank it a 4.5/5 stars because it is amazing but there is an annoying bug. When trying to add a resource via the pinned icon on the browser bar, the Workona pop-up-window prompts you for a subscription upgrade to add a resource to an new resource folder in the workspace. Giving the reasoning of upgrading to add an additional 'Resource Section' even though the current tab/bookmark I am trying to add is being added to a resource section that already exists within the workspace. I'm not trying to add it to a new section. Also, I wish there was a way to use a Dark Mode theme or change the actual background color of the webpage. The light webpage is a bit jarring and I prefer a darker screen during long screen use. Other than those two thing, the app is a wonderful addition to a work routine and helps you to stay on top of your tasks in an organized and neatly assigned manner.
• (2023-11-19) G. Wayne Meaney: I love Workona and use it every day. It's changed the way I use my browser. It has obsolesced all other bookmark managers and is integral to how I do my thing. This is a superb, even essential extension, and it's run by a great team. Highly recommend.
• (2023-11-18) Paul Zanoni: I am not one for extensions but Workona is a game changer. I highly recommend it for organizing multiple workflows. Until I read the reviews here I was unaware that there was a paid version.

I sometimes accidentally close tabs or move a tab to a different window that I didn't want to get rid of and Workona saves it for me. Very happy with this, I've been looking for something like it for some time.
• (2023-11-16) Alexa Easterly: I never write reviews for chrome extensions but this one has been amazing and has definitely streamlined my daily workflow. I struggle with having too many tabs open for all my different projects and this program has made it so easy to organize my spaces. Paired with the tab group manger extension they recommend (though that can be a bit wonky at times - I've found that you just need to let tabs fully reload before clicking on them as to not lose your created groups) my digital workspace has never been more organized!

• (2023-11-12) Jack Greenfield: Somehow, I got this extension misconfigured, so that it gets into a doom loop. It opens each tab in its own window, and then minimizes each window, all asynchronously and running continuously. Given a large number of tabs and a large number of windows to start with, this took my machine down for more than an hour when it kicked off, before I just killed Chrome, and it restarts every time I quit and then relaunch Chrome. I have resorted to simply removing the extension, since Chrome is unusable when it's present.
• (2023-11-11) Darik James: Trying to write a Review on this Extension, it seems as though Google has a monopoly on these ratings, blocking just about everything you try to do to submit a 1 Star Review, hence all the HIGH ratings that you see about a Google Extension. This one, just like others have noted, this Extension is just NOT worth $7 / mo (nearly the cost of NetFlix / Discovery+) and you have NO Entertainment value within / provided. Yet, as one other user provided, there is an EXCELLENT alternative, Vivaldi, which works EXCELLENTLY with Chrome, importing your workspace is a breeze. My only issue is that Google may squash such a lovely platform as Vivaldi, just as MS did with Netscape. Besides that, this guy "artur artur Modified Oct 10, 2023" left a really detailed valid complaint. Oh, before using it, be sure to have "Session Buddy" installed and saving a few sessions as using this Extension (Workona) will wipe your sessions away. Be safe, not sorry!!!

Workona makes it so I can clean up one category and switch to another with one click. And, when I switch back, everything I was working on is right there - open and ready to roll. Not only can you organize open tabs by workspace, you can also open Gdocs right from the app, create to-do lists and save the resources you use regularly.

And you only warn about it once I've invested my time creating and organizing my stuff, just to see you want to charge me as much as Netflix just to save a few KB of URLs in the cloud. You should paywall sharing spaces, which makes sense in the enterprise, but just for saving a list of URLs? Way too expensive for the home user. I'll just move to Vivaldi, which offers the same functionality and it can integrate workspaces into the tab bar. It's sad because I was thinking about suggesting this product at work due to all the sharing capabilities, but if it cannot even serve a home user without an expensive subscription... why bother? I would have even considered it for $7/y without sharing capabilities, but $7/month? I can cover Microsoft 365 for 6 members of my family for £7.99 (all six!) and that includes email, MS Office and 6TB of OneDrive storage. You must be out of your mind with those prices.

• (2023-10-11) artur artur: so, I saw this ext "featured" on Store main page, i got curious with how fancy the "organised" tab board looked, thus I decided to give it a try, and ... it's a total disaster - - - UPD :: OHH it turned out that the Extension just grab your tabs into "unsaved" sessions !! split by windows !! and then hides the window from your conventional access !! and if you click on diamond icon your sets of tabs wipes away to nowhere immediately !! and you need to guess where to search for it because sessions may vary ! are you crazy there ? can I rank it -10 please ? - - - from the beginning, right after first launch (when I finally got to the "dashboard" through dozen of silly useless popups) I lost all my job in the end ! the Extension just sorted my open tabs, and when I was trying to change the "category" my tabs had gone away ! not to mention, during the "sorting job" you still have random pop ups apperaing CONSTANTLY ! and to put it even more, some of those pop ups JUST NOT REACTING to "Got It" button ! it just keeps covering a part of your screen ! really annoying also this is a bit weird to have a "share with team" section to be the first choice in "main area" in tab-sorting app ! so what is this, a bookmark manager, a collaboration tool, a daily planner dashboard, a project organizer ? maybe all of those, but definitely NOT a tab-organizer tool maybe I got it totally wrong what the Extension is intended to be, but according to screenshots the main purpose of the Extension is to accurately combine and organise your tabs mess in a fancy modern way , with an easy touch to quicly access all of your job, BUT not to be another half-way fork of another Slack or Trello clone speaking about tabs, you need toselect from the list, NAME the list, drop it into the list, and all those thing just to see a little icon where you can click on to see the tabs expanding... after wasting hundreds of time to "organise" those tabs BECAUSE WITHOUT IT THE EXT WILL IMMIDIATELLY TRANFORM YOUR TABS INTO "UNSAVED" SECTION without any permission with the most uncomfortable unpleasant approach to "unwrap" it ufff ... in other words, this Extension adds some additional complicated job (with annoying glitchy popups) to get to your tabs session via "personal lobby" , thus creating a strong barrier for the simple things ... who knows, maybe people need this, good luck you developers guys, but as for me this is the most useless instrument ever, and did I mention that I lost my tabs with it & no CMD+SHIFT+T helped , and search it in history is a problem because there were tabs opened like mounthes ago ALL MANUALLY COMBINED BY TOPICS DAMN so angry
