HLP files can be viewed with the Windows Help Viewer, which is provided with the Windows operating system. Older versions of help files may have trouble being viewed in newer versions of Windows.

2 stars just because the extension takes you to an ad covered webpage to convert the hlp file, was totally overrun in google adverts. But it did work after you disable adblocker just enough to read the hlp file... Deleted the extension immediately after.
don't work at all
It just opens a link to the website. The website functions, and it converts the files just fine, but it doesn't work offline because, y'know, it's a website. This "application" is literally just a hyperlink to the website. Again, the website is functional, but this application is pretty pointless outside of just SEO.
Does exactly what I needed. It could convert a .hlp file from an older program to html without any problem.
Saved me the headache of trying to install the old Windows XP WinHelp.exe, exactly what I needed.
Did what I needed. Dropped a 0.6 MB HLP file on to Chrome and was able to read the contents.
Requires adblock to be disabled. I'll find something else thanks.

Uesless. Claims file too big. There was no indication there were file size restrictions.
Tried to use it. Said I couldn't use free version with popup blocker enabled. Disabled it. Still kept coming back saying the same thing even after I reloaded the page. Useless.
worked on old game's (dark earth) hlp file that wouldn't open in windows 10 :^)
