• (2022-11-03) bruh why: I hope i can give this 0 starss.... one time it let me install my extentions i thought it was a kind move but i realised that mobile guardian was simply not there ad when it was back it lagged my device i could not even do my work properly , one word search in the dictionary can take up up to 20 mintutes with or without my adblock!smelly! dont recommend

This creates a sense of hate towards using our chromebooks as everything is banned. It should be illegal to track a persons every move and every button they click. They even track how much RAM we use! Honestly, this should be banned in most countries! Absolutely awful! If there ratings in the negatives, I would click minus whatever the most number is. 0 Star rating! I hate this! Edit: 10 years have passed and I am now a father of 6, each child comes home everyday complaining about this! Edit: 15 years have passed and I am lying on my deathbed because mobile guardian informed the FBI of my review! Edit: It is 2021 and they found my kids watching youtube at home, so they sent them all to a Gulag. I can track them by mobile guardian. Help me organize a military commando so I can rescue all children there. I am in the process of suing them
• (2021-06-02) Lubna Alkhan: this extension tracks your location, blocks sites and it doesn't let you remove the extension which are all violations of our privacy and rights as the owners of our laptops. on top of all of that, the laptops we are using are not the school's laptops. the students had to pay for these and there are so many restrictions it might as well not be a laptop. it's annoying it's awful DON'T get this for your child or your school

This app should immediately be banned as it takes away student freedom and privacy. It also reveals all your data to the entire internet. This app solely defines the whole purpose of the internet which is to keep peoples privacy safe but mobile guardian does the exact opposite.this extension tracks your location, blocks sites and it doesn't let you remove the extension which are all violations of our privacy and rights as the owners of our laptops. Students have bought laptops from the school with their own money so it doesn't make sense when they are blocking websites on a device that they don't even own . Blocking websites at school is understandable, even though I might not personally agree with it, but using it to collect data on the students is just wrong. On https://www.mobileguardian.com/privacy-policy/ , it is made clear that the information that they collect on students includes: Geographic Location IP Addresses Device and Activity History Even if you log into your school account on another device, 'If a student logs into a personal device with a school-managed account, we will track location and browser history.' And yet they claim it is to keep us safe online...

• (2021-03-16) Alexander Dennant: This application infringes on the fundemental ideas of the internet and the world wide web. If you really want to filter data on a network do it at the backend, because all mobile guardian does is filter the sites I need while looking the other way when acessing sites that should be blocked. Plus, being a chrome extension, it takes about 3 minutes and some common sense to delete the files through file explore meaning that it is, for all intents and purposes, completely and utterly useless.
