Offline WebPage Editor allows AEM authors or it's users to temporarily try content changes directly on Published pages.
Offline WebPage Editor is Chrome extension for AEM authors. It allows AEM authors & other business users to temporarily try content changes directly on Published pages without opening Author instance.
Offline WebPage Editor comes as handy tool for authors & other business users who want to try out different content variations on published pages quickly before authoring the actual changes. Offline WebPage Editor lets its users:
» Change existing text on the page
» Move images around the page
» Change or add new font styles (bold, italics) on the text
» Add new Text on the page
All the changes respect the current styling on the page, hence Offline WebPage Editor can also be used to test how would a section look when text exceeds the given height & width of a DOM element.
Note: All changes made with Office WebPage Editor are temporary, authors will have to make those changes manually in AEM author instance. Page refresh will clear all the changes.
