Tabiverse is a procedurally generated universe in your browser new tab. Every time you open a new tab, you are teleported to a procedural planet in space with random terrains, oceans, atmosphere, and biomes. The random planets, stars, gas giants, and asteroids provide you an infinite number of 3D space themed wallpaper for your new tab. Since every planet is rendered in 3D, the space wallpapers are interactive! You are able to move the camera freely to explore the planets in space. Each planet in space comes with its own unique name and stats such as temperature and habitability. Currently, there are three types of celestial space object in the Tabiverse: planets, stars, gas giants, and asteroids. Each space object might have a ring or moons. We are adding more space objects such as black holes and space anomalies very soon. You are also able to save and share your planet coordinates with your friends so that they can explore the same planets. More features such as an account system and multiplayer are also in the works. • (2021-05-26) punpun: Used to have the usual shortcuts in the new tab which always pulled me in leading to endless procrastination. Now, I have a planet.
  • (2020-12-16) Gabriel Angelo: Simple, yet good.
  • (2020-11-27) Cale Lyman: amazing design i would recommend this to anyone who loves space. I have a suggestion you should add an area were it is like a mini solar system but made of the planets you have collected or be able to design your own planet
  • (2020-10-14) Cookie Celeste: I liked it pretty much, it's very interesting, but I can't see my "favorites" bar upon the tab
  • (2020-08-30) Jawad Khan: I use this and I don't see much of a CPU impact. I run integrated graphics and on high i get 40fps which is good enough. I've been using this ever since I saw it on Reddit and love this.
  • (2020-07-20) Victor Piousbox: Amazing plugin, one of my favorites (actually, the favorite. Pretty Json is a close second, and LastPass is the third.) Never be bored opening a browser tab again. Dream while at your desk! Seriously though, I applaud the author, this chrome extension is exactly what the world needs, and I only wish there were more maps and it was open source and I wish to have a small spaceship animation and all the other different things.
  • (2020-03-16) Alexey Rival: A W E S O M E
  • (2020-02-16) Anders Hwang: By far the best new tab I've ever used. Very cool in both the aesthetic and technical aspects. Can't believe more people don't use it. Try it out, its free!
  • (2020-02-09) Deepesh Vesuwala: Looks fab .. i wish there were more information on the planets .. like which solar system or galaxy .. how many Kilometeres from earth or our Sun. and a webpage link with more info
  • (2020-01-29) Daan Hakvoort: Great! Maybe a cool addition would be a small pointer to the direction of the earth + maybe an option to set it to just the planets near our solar system
  • (2020-01-20) Jacob Sorrell: Love it.
  • (2019-11-10) Verize: Great addon, I'm absolutely in love with it. It runs pretty well too, much better than I expected. I run it on highest settings (60fps, best textures) on my i5-6500 and GTX 1060 and only see some stutter when opening a new tab, but it stabilizes quickly.
  • (2019-11-03) Vladislav Trapeznikov: so good!
  • (2019-10-30) R S: Very cool!
  • (2019-10-18) Lance Krasniqi: Very cool! Much better than the regular tab. Can't wait for the next updates :)
  • (2019-10-17) Rembrandt Klazinga: Very cool concept, but my FPS were absolutely terrible, and I run a decent, current-gen gaming rig. 10FPS on low and 4FPS on high settings. Can't recommend this until that is fixed.
  • (2019-10-17) Aure superaure: Very much what I tend to enjoy. I'll be happily seeing this develop further.
  • (2019-10-03) Jake York: Awesome replacement for the new tab. If only I could click and drag around and zoom in and out. Works awesome at full FPS and quality settings too.
  • (2019-10-03) C_hawk Ranger: Very cool! love the variety in colours. good job not sticking to just earth-like planets.
