• (2023-12-09) Cal Williams: Pop-ups are too intrusive. Often they get in the way of the website. It'd be nice to add a configurable-timeout so that they fade away automatically after some amount of time. Or, it'd be nice to opt-in to only receive cashback notifications for certain sites that I'm interested in or need a reminder. Would replace the current opt-out functionally (or can just choose one or the other). Nice that it reminds when there is a cashback for a site. Also nice that it can confirm whether cashback is activated or not. Thanks for fixing resource usage and removing ads from search results.

• (2023-09-29) Jess Keifer: So I downloaded this about a year ago (the app and extension), and have not had a good experience. The extension has never worked for me. When I click on it to grant access to the site I'm about to make a purchase on, it gets stuck on the spinning dots - and it just keeps spinning. I uninstalled it months ago and just recently re-installed it thinking something would be different since it's been over 6 months... But I'm facing the same issue. Even if this does get fixed, I've already missed out on the welcome bonus that draws most of us to these cashback apps.

• (2023-07-27) Daniel Alves: This app adds a CSS rule to every website you view to change <p> elements to have a font-size of 12px. The <p> element is perhaps the most used element in HTML. This means it has a very significant effect on every website. It's a very careless mistake. Please correct.

• (2023-03-02) Mike Seibel: Extremely Disappointed. TCB use to be one of my starting points to find deals, but am now consistently getting rejections for casback. This is the latest message from them on a claim. "Non-Commissionable". This typically means that either the item(s) purchased are not eligible for cashback, a coupon or promotional code was used, items were returned or exchanged or that TopCashback was not the last referred click. I won't get into the details, but the above either is not the case or was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Again, very disappointed. Don't count on getting anything back. Time to move on.

After that, whenever I visit OfficeDepot.com, the tiny popup window NEVER pops, and when I click on the extension, NOTHING happens either!!! FRUSTRATING and TOO BUGGY! Fix it! If I start from TopCashBack.com, to take me to Office Depot, even though it says my visit has been "recorded", at the actual OfficeDepot page there is NOTHING that tell me it's activated - how do I know it's actually active? I have used Rakuten extension for a while, and it's WAAAYYY much better and more reliable!

Helpful as you can't use cut out coupons at online stores, but this (whether it is like 0.2 % to 10% cash back feels good). Main downer: AMAZON.com nothing qualifies ever. And I do 90% of my shopping on there. So a let down, but I understand if it is to encourage usage of other stores that need to survive. Tried to encourage family to join, but they've had hesitancy. Hope to convince them soon. You won't get rich, but it is worth the extra clicks and links buy making a few cents at several stores. :)

The Cash Back is usually higher than that of competitors. I also appreciate that there is a customer service offering that allows to follow up on Cash Back that goes unclaimed even after clicking on the link. Making sure cash back ends up in the consumers pocket needs to be the focus of the firm firm going forward

Other cashback portals have worked fine. Bunch of crooks.

It’s really frustrating that most of my purchases were not tracked especially some of big purchases, even though I have made sure the extension is activated every time before checking out. I have to claim each of them through customer services, however, after waiting for a few weeks, most of my claims have returned declined because they said I probably check out through another marketing channel??? I find it very confusing since small cashback can be tracked normally. I didn't do anything particular.

I have contacted c/s about the error and still have not heard back several weeks later. I do not support companies that don't stand behind their service/product. I also use another company that offers a similar service; there have been errors there also but when I point it out it is remedied right away. Due to the missing money back with Topcash I don't trust their service, so I may only use it TC the other company I use doesn't offer cash back at a store.

Other cashback and coupon extension pop up windows on the vendor's page which is totally annoying. I highly recommend TopCashBack and its extension as it's a great service and generally pays the highest cashback compared to their competitors.

• (2021-08-29) Hongsuk Song: TopCashBack's site is great. The extension is not consistent. There have always had issues with its interface and tracking, but it was solved by reclicking or reopening my browser. Justjust found a huge recent bug, though: Usually when you click the TCB (TopCashBack) extension, it will show you that X% cash back has been activated and you can also click for Best Deals and Recently Visited. However, lately all I see is "Join Now". This is because the browser extension is logging out of my account every time I close and reopen my browser. Note, it is only the browser extension because if I go to the actual site, I am still logged in. So, I still see pop ups for X% cash back available, but if I click it, a) I don't see on the browser extension that states my cash back is activated b) my purchase does not track. The temporary fix is to log out of TopCashBack's main site and log back in EVERY TIME I reopen my browser. Do not trust that your purchases are tracking via the extension. Just recently made a large purchase and I clicked through TopCashBack's portal AND the extension, but because the extension logged me out of my account (just the extension, not the main site), my purchase did not track and TopCashBack is refusing my cashback. Other cash back portals offer less %, but at least they are consistent and reliable, and have great customer service to correct their mistakes. Hoping TCB fixes this bug and reconciles my situation.

• (2021-06-28) Roy Honegger: TopCashBack is the best cash back site in my opinion. The extension seems top work well. Not very intrusive, and recognizes retailer sites appropriately and accurately for activating cash back.
• (2021-06-26) Dee Smith: Only a fraction of "Clicks to Merchants" register, and an even fewer track any earnings. Even then you're looking at 8-15 WEEKS before the amount is payable. More often than not you have to submit a claim, which takes MONTHS "to investigate", and doesn't mean you will actually receive those earnings. More than likely, as others have mentioned, you will get the whole, "this has been declined by the retailer's network agency as they have been unable to identify that TopCashback were the last referral to this sale.". Overall, this is nothing more than a way for merchants to drive traffic to their websites, and majority have no intentions of paying. Stick with Rakuten, who actually does payout and doesn't make you jump through hoops for weeks or months on end!

Only 7 are past the pending stage with one still pending from March 25th, and many 'confirmed' but not 'claimed'. June has 6 'savings' with all of them still 'pending'. Not good if I'm not getting my cash back.

I was not logged in once, even though I thought I was and didn't get credit for purchase of Express VPN service. After several back and forth emails between TopCashBack and Express VPN I was able to resolve the problem. Took 2 to 3 months to do so, ugh.

  The 4.0.2.0 update is forcing a font size/style change on websites, making text small and hard to read. I isolated the problem to the TopCashBack extension specifically. Also, this problem didn't begin until this latest update.

  In May, 2022, I purchased a lot of Andrew Lessman's Vitamins for over a thousand dollars. HSN was having problems with their website and it looked like I placed two identical orders. I called HSN and got one of them cancelled. You gave me credit for the two purchases and the next day both credits were cancelled. I don't understand why both were cancelled.
