• (2023-02-23) Andrew Beaver: This is an extension that is basically malware disguised so that administrators will install and link it to the accounts they administer and then any accounts on the same device, basically spreading the virus. Extensions get removed if their ratings get too low with enough low ratings. The extension will be removed from both the webstore and device since it will be unavailable. A school district solved an extension that way before. It is the only way to remove this extension even for the administrator.

Our school administrators installed this chrome extension on our computers even though the school's Wi-Fi blocks most of the sites that students are not allowed access to. Fortinet blocks even educational sites, like google classroom. In my case, it blocked every single website. This extension is also dysfunctional and doesn't work as intended like the company claimed. Check their website and look at their reviews, all of them are 5 stars even though the majority of Fortinet's review is negative. In my opinion, I don't think this extension should even be on the chrome web store and don't even know how this application got verified.

Fortinet did not test this extension with Chrome properly as it is absolutely full of bugs. Do not use this extension. It works well on MS Edge which is unbelievable.

• (2021-01-05) Dale Williford: A lot of folks in these reviews have talked about what the extension won't allow you to do in Chrome once it's installed. I couldn't care less about that. I rated this 1 star because it won't stop prompting me to install it and activate it, despite the fact that I obviously have it installed and activated (or else I wouldn't be able to review it). I can't make the prompts stop (they are incessant) and even my IT team can't figure out how to stop the prompts. It's required by my company (Congratulations to the FortiClient sales team for selling the absolute worst product on the planet successfully), so I can't remove it. I would quit using Chrome over this if I wasn't so pot committed with all of my settings. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to click on something in the bottom right of my window and the prompt comes up and I accidentally click on it, even if I'm not in the Chrome window. It takes me to a screen where I'm asked to install and enable an extension that is already installed and enabled It's disgraceful that in this digital age a product that is this dysfunctional is able to exist. Any companies or organizations that are thinking about enabling this extension, please do not do so unless you want your users to stop using Chrome. I couldn't be more sincere in this review, and I hope it prevents someone from making the same mistake that my company made.

  I have been having this issue for a while where, this is just my device, the wifi loses connection, so i turn off the wifi and turn it back on again. When the wifi loads the sites, they end up appearing as blocked. The issue here is that they say that the url to the block window is blocked and not the original url is blocked, meaning that i must memorize what the urls of what i was on every time in cas it is stuck saying that the forticlient page is blocked, leaving me with no way to quickly backtrack to it.

  Hello, as a Chrome user I would like to unlock some apps/sites. I was given this Chromebook by my school, which is very nice of them, however I'm not allowed to do anything on it. This is a problem! I suggest that during school hours sites are blocked. That's fine. But when it comes to my free time, (after school hours), it still blocks everything.
