Untempered Comments on Every Page of the Internet.
Untempered Comments on Every Page of the Internet.
Netflix shows and movies, google search queries, disabled comment sections on youtube, PDF files, image files and every other thing on the internet.
What is this?
oComments (a.k.a Open Comments) is a layer on top of the web that lets you comment on any page of the internet with no risk of your voice being muffled.
Our Mission
Comment freely on any page of the internet, with only purely malicious comments being removed. oComments strives to be a safe place that you are always comfortable with commenting on.
Truth & Helping Stop Fake News
Currently all websites control every part of their site. While it is immensely important that websites still have complete control of their site, they should not have control over your opinion, let alone the truth. If a company posts a fake article and someone calls them out on it, it doesn't matter how many likes their comment gets, it can just be removed by the site owner. This is a key thing that drove us to build oComments.
Why do I need a browser extension?
Instead of commenting at the bottom of the page on a typical website, oComments installs a browser plugin that when clicked on any webpage it brings up the comments for that page. By doing this we've switched around the way comments work, instead of companies opting into comment sections, YOU opt-in instead. This means that users without the oComments extension yet will not be able to read your comments, so share oComments with your friends!
