- What's so special? Chrome can already play mp4 files without this extension. I was hoping for more control or configuration of video I'm playing... not just play the video, just like chrome already does. you can adjust the speed, just like chrome already does. was hoping for color, brightness, zoom, things like that....

- This extension has the ability to play a .mp4 in your browser (windows 10 Chrome) Whats so exciting, well playing in your browser means you can access "LIVE CAPTIONS" meaning that the audio self translates to text. At present time, it is only able to display English audio, as english text... but its a start. To turn on live captions, read this instruction. Use Live Caption in Chrome On your computer, open Chrome . At the top right, click More. Settings. At the bottom of the Settings page, click Advanced. Under “Accessibility,” turn on Live Caption. No more hunting for captions, synching them.. just enjoy. Thank you, from everyone who needs captions to enjoy.

- искал то, что будет стакаться с video speed control и это расширение вполне управляемо, на сколько мне нужно шагов замедления/ускорения, НО... отвратительный выбор видео+бывает сбивается тайминг+не рабочий плейлист, если выбрано не одно видео (через контрл)+ картинка бесячая и не понятно, ты уже загрузил видео или нет. 3 только за реализацию локал хтмл5 плеера

- It does the job. I was using jumpcutter to skip the silent parts in videos it but I only want to enable it for local files as otherwise it applies to all that I watch in the browser. I cannot access the built-in page to play the local file if it was disabled, so I play my video with this extension and ask NooBoss to enable jumpcutter only when the page of this player is active. By the way, there is some minor problem with the styling of the control panel. The buttons are not aligned in the middle vertically and to be honest the border and box-shadow are not so goodlooking. If someone experience the same problem, you can write a stylesheet with stylus. To align the buttons, change .fa display to table, line-height and height to 30px and set padding in .btn to 0. To get rid of the border, background and box-shadow, set them to none in .btn:not(.btn-primary).
