- (2022-07-20) Nalin Jayasuriya: What the other reviewers are saying with 1-star ratings is true. It forces the user to share the screen. It also forces the camera and mic to be turned-on to proceed. There is no need for recruiting companies to use this tool, it's better not to work for a recruiting company that forces you to install this. This is a privacy violation. This Glider's AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not yet mature. Google please remove this plug-in/extension ASAP. Thanks
- (2022-04-30) Sudhir Shenoy: Too intrusive and distracting. Too many popups and warnings not relevant to the test
- (2022-01-28) Subhadip Banerjee: One of most stupidest coding platform for coding test. I can not move or see or relax for thinking. These morons expects the coders should code like a statue. And to the companies who are using it, this poor software reflects their culture as well and that is micromanaging the employees. Also you are violating my privacy by recording video, audio, screen recording.
- (2021-11-18) Ilya Makedon: Screw this. I declined to take the test that is this invasive. It's completely inappropriate. I hope the glider lands in the closest swamp and stays there.
- (2021-10-20) Innis Mirage of Deceit: Deeply intrusive, demanding full access to your machine, and then drawing unwarranted inferences based on the information. I leaned in to peer at the terminal at the bottom of the screen to try to read the output, and while I was doing that, it reported me as attempting to cheat by looking away from the screen for an extended period of time. I spent the rest of the test glancing at the terminal and looking up to stare into the camera in order to dodge this arbitrary requirement. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
- (2021-10-12) vivek rawat: Worst tool
- (2021-10-12) Prashant Kapse: Worst software to give exams. It automatically closes the exam and lags a lot while the timer in the background doesn't stop when it's the problem from glider end. When you again login to start the exam and some how manage to start the exam again it will not start from where you left the timer, it will start from the new time, where you will be. The timer in the background never stops when it starts, no matter the glider extension stops responding or it lags. I request every company never take your placements exam with glider.
- (2021-10-09) Shishir Bagalkot: Worst experience ever, had to use this to attend a company qualification test, created a lot of issues, could not attend many questions, if i fail this test then this is because of this extension.
- (2021-09-11) Harsha Vardhan Reddy Maddi: Awfull! Even if you are watching screen and taking test it displays suspicious activity totally hated it.
- (2021-09-02) Glenville Pecor: Besides being dumb and intrusive, even if I am sharing a window it brings my CPU to 50% and my memory to 35%... both numbers jumped 35%
- (2021-08-25) Mariana Castagne: This is very intrusive and unnecessary. Worst experience with my privacy
- (2021-08-22) Abhilash Y: Heavy risk to privacy...

- (2021-07-13) Prudhvi y: AI tool is smart enough yet. Showed waning when I was thinking about a question saying I lookied outside the window.
- (2021-06-07) suman kumar panda: Camera, Audio, Mic, Entire Screen..lol . what else? why don't my recruiter sent a person to sit next to me? too intrusive and violation personal space, felt like spyware. Chrome please remove from store.
- (2021-04-29) Ibrahim Baz: Awful!
- (2021-04-08) Stefan Bobrowski: Why is everyone crying about the intrusiveness? You can literally choose to capture an application window not the whole screen
- (2021-03-27) Ricardo D'Alessandro: I felt my privacy was completely violated.
- (2021-03-21) Philip Wang: the eye tracking is really lame besides the too-intrusive-issue, i got many warnings during the online assessment just because it thought i was looking outside the screen and cheated. Come on man, this is stupid, I have to scroll the page to specific positions the whole time just to make sure the system thinks i was still starring at the page?????
- (2021-03-18) Andy Wong: Very bad experience. No point to monitor the screen and even the camera. Way too intrusive. Moreover, problem statement is unclear, input output instructions are not clear. Output doesn't even matches input...
- (2021-03-07) Ting-Wei Lin: Accessing all my browsing history for an online test is ridiculous. Just gave me very bad impression for the company that used this service.
- (2021-01-20) Flash Sheridan: Unlike most of the reviewers here, I don’t think this extension is wrong in principle (see below), if the company implementing it were competent, which they are not. I was recently given Glider tests for two separate positions. The first test ended after a minute, during the “Tell Us About Yourself” phase, and would not restart. The second one never actually showed me any questions, but nonetheless twice told me I was cheating: First when, instead of my coding exercise, I saw only a spinning cursor, and viewed the page source to try to diagnose the problem. Second, after restarting the test and again waiting for an actual question, a notification flashed on my phone and I looked at it—again when I wasn’t working on a question. Glider’s off-shored support was unwilling to do anything about the first failure, and unable to do anything in time about the second. I agree with Joel on Software that coding questions are essential for coding positions, even though I was not a CS major and tend to code too slowly for interviews. Cheating detection is also, sadly, necessary. At a previous employer, I was part of a team screening someone via a competent programming test site (HackerRank), and someone we interviewed fairly clearly had cheated. HackerRank did give us a clue, but the actual decision needed to be made by humans. The candidate crashed and burned during the in-person phase, so the only damage was to waste our time.
- (2020-12-04) Jon Hatfield: Cause my computer to bluescreen once in 35 minutes. Caused the Chrome tab to crash once during the same period. Very intrusive. And I wish I hadn't wasted my time with the assessment.
- (2020-10-15) Khalid Warsame: Works well for its intended purposes but I wouldn't work for any company that forced this kind of spyware. Intrusive and I hope this company dies off.
- (2020-09-22) Devashish Kashikar: unnecessary
- (2020-08-26) Khanh Duong: Intrusive.
- (2020-08-25) Grigory Azaryan: Are you kidding me lol
- (2020-08-25) Will Jones: intrusive, and resource heavy
- (2020-08-20) Robert Wojciechowski: Dear lord this thing is massively intrusive. Nobody should need this level of monitoring for anything.
- (2020-07-30) Sri Harsha: Why is it so intrusive? Take this down google
- (2020-07-24) Jaime l'oeuf: Why hasn't chrome take this down for being so intrusive yet?
- (2020-07-22) bala kiran: Too intrusive. Actually violating my private space by sharing all my private content. If you want to monitor a test, just monitor the tab or browser. Why do you want the entire screen of the machine. Ridiculous to say the least.
- (2020-04-16) Wei Ket Ong: Too intrusive, assesses camera, microphone and video
- (2020-04-05) Leonard Chan: Very intrusive and unnecessary
- (2020-03-31) John: way too intrusive for an online assessment
- (2020-03-27) Jon Moore: Pure garbage.

- (2020-03-21) nithin kumar: Very intrusive
- (2020-03-18) Rahul Sood: This is intrusive
- (2020-03-18) Kang Zi Jing: I am very perturbed by the fact that I am being recorded and the recording will be sent to the recruiter; it gives me a very bad feeling of how the culture in the company might be and it feels slightly violating. I have never gotten such supervision before be it in examinations, project work, professional internships or in my prior workplaces.
- (2020-01-29) Freya Fang: ew.
- (2020-01-21) edwin wong: Plugin is too permissive for just an online quiz?
- (2020-01-18) Rauf M: Won't connect to mic and cam. Too much hassle.
