Furthermore, I am paying their monthly fee, so you would think that they would do there bet to retain a paying customer but that's not the case. 11/13/22: Back with an update....I still have not received a cashout for over a year now. I have realized that they are just scamming. They use to reply to emails, they do not anymore. I have not gotten a responce from that. At this point, I will just cancel the subscription that I am paying.
• (2022-10-25) John Cruz: This extension is very helpful and practical. I enjoy that it takes out the guess work for me on what qualifies as a purchase. Highly recommend it. I can't get enough of the cash rewards.
• (2022-10-12) Kelly C: I like Earny. It used to be easier to use though. It seems to log out a LOT. I also think there's a paid version maybe that they seem to push a lot for more benefits. It's a great little tool. I'm grateful for it. Just wish it would keep connection.

I paid for the extra earning service and they will not cash out my balance which I was going to use to pay for Christmas. They will not reply to e-mails or to FB messages. Don't pay for this service.

• (2022-04-07) J C.: Earny has allowed me to recover funds I wouldn't have otherwise because I don't have enough time to pay attention to every purchase I make to see if it is marked down within a specified period of time. Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect my Amazon account to recover cash I know I would have, so I would suggest Earny fix that glitch because, again, I do not have the time or patience to keep trying to connect it. I do not understand what is going wrong with the process. After glancing at the other reviews, apparently Earny has some different practices, and Idon't remember paying anything.....
• (2022-03-31) Maria Bryan: Earny is a great way to get something back from shopping online. Instead of having to travel an hour or more to stores from where I live in rural America, it's nice to get a little something back when shopping online. Earny makes this possible. I am looking forward to additional savings from an Earny reward soon.

Also, why push Amazon so hard? I have clicked the "I don't shop at Amazon" link about a million times, but I get the pop-up and the emails all the time saying "you may be missing cash back on your Amazon purchases." THERE AREN'T ANY. Like I said, lame.
• (2021-12-07) Wendy Wendy: This app constantly pops up windows telling me to link my account. I've done it like 50 times, it never registers and keeps asking me to link again and again and again. The pop ups are constant and disruptive. Horrible experience.

Lately I have been getting error messages and/or it doesn't take me back to the site where I am trying to shop. Basically I am not using at the moment.

• (2021-08-11) Michael Odza: When it works, fine, but I don't know whose fault it is, but it disconnects between purchases on Android phone or Win 10 PC (Chrome browser), and it takes several tries to reconnect it. Since I'm retired, my time is worth less than it was, but it's infuriating to waste time to get $0.30 back.

It never stays connected and everytime even after you just connected it keeps asking to connect aka sign in thru email and constantly approve connect. etc very annoying as right now its not accepting password waste of time my valuable time just want to buy and dine not fool around with an app that cant stay connected no time for this.

I used it for a while when Rakuten wasn't giving cash back for Walmart purchases so now I have a little money. I really want to disable the extension but I don't have enough to cash out.

The only thign i do not like about this APP is it keeps asking me to link Amazon when i am linked. This is very annoying. also when having more thne one account it doesnt switch and not easy to switch back and forth. When your trying to make a purchase and get ti done having to do all the work to change email and log in and then go to eamil to say yes this is me,. etc. Its rediculous. But over all it is a great APP.

• (2021-03-24) Wendy Clarke: Don't waste your time or money! I signed up for the annual membership thinking it was going to be just as good as the trial period. Boy was I wrong! They say it can take 30-90 days for cashback to hit your account. It's March 2021 and I still have cashback pending from October 2020. I contacted them about it and they blamed the pandemic. Also, I always make sure that I'm signed in to Earny before making a purchase, but I still get the "you missed cash back" e-mails. Why? I click on the Earny Chrome extension before checking out. When all my cash back is available, I will be canceling my membership. Rakuten doesn't have as much cash back options anymore, but I think I'll stick with them. I just made a purchase and it already told me that I have cash back pending, the next morning. Earny is not worth the hassle. I feel like I have to babysit my purchases, which is not how they advertised their service would work.

• (2021-01-02) Brenda Thompson: The idea is a great idea but the design of the extension is as I call it not ready to be used and I would be very cautious on publishing the extension due to log in and URLs changing per my password logger it original logged. There are standards and a committee that I will be reporting this to so that other users are protected and do not waste their time. Laws and guidelines will be enforced in 2021 so that the loss is not on the user but on the developer that published an app that I am positive Google, Microsoft, Chrome , Firefox do not want to use an extension that is not performing and the users in Good Faith had used and or waiting for their cash back.

I try to use the chrome extension and mobile app browser to make purchases through earny, but these last few times I've made purchases using these methods, i always receive an email saying " you missed out on cashback by not using either the browser or mobile app." I'm only giving it 2 stars because it works a handful of times, and because I already use my regular cashback card, so this just "doubles up" on it whenever it does goes through. I also don't like that I have to wait 6 months before it leaves the "pending" status. I can agree its to prevent customers from returning items, but seriously, most companies offer 30-60 day returns, not 180 days.

Definitely not enough savings for me to want to pay $50-something for a year of higher savings given my previous experience.

But now I have no idea whether I am shopping through the extension, and I constantly get taunting emails that I somehow missed "xxx" in cash back from my previous purchases. Should be a lot easier to click through and get the cash back. Used to be pretty seamless. Not anymore. Not worth the effort.

So I remove all the other cash back apps and figure WTH I'll just use Earny. Here's why that hasn't worked out. 1. I get logged out of Earny all the time. So, when I go to buy something I see a popup "Do you want to earn X% from whatever retailers site I'm on". I click the button, because of course I do. 2. When I complete my transaction I never know if Earny did anything. 3. I get an email from Earny, "You missed getting $$$ back from your recent transaction". Earny see's I bought something. Earny knows I should be getting $$ back. But Earny isn't giving me that $$$.

• (2020-11-11) Joe Shimanek Jr: I buy many dry goods for our home from Walmart.com. I installed the app and kept seeing all of the "missed" Earny money, so I paid the $20 to enjoy cash back. I often shop over several days before my cart is ready for checkout. It seems I've "missed" as much cashback as I've seen pending. Then you get an email, you missed cashback. There's way clear way to know if any of your shopping is going to be deemed eligible even though I click the Earny pop-up every day I go to Walmart.com. The Earny folks could make this so much easier, but doing the right thing costs them money. I only hope to get my $20 back before my year runs out. They truly over-promise and under-deliver!

I have emailed Earny a number of times and they respond and say they are checking in to it but that's been going on for over 2 months and I never hear back from them. I will stick with Rakuten where at least I get credit for my purchases.
