Dark Theme for YouTube™ add-on converts YouTube theme to a highly customizable dark charcoal/blue theme.
note that as of version 0.2.0, the extension forces the built-in dark theme. This version does not allow customization. I have a plan to bring the customization back to the extension soon.

Notes:
1. You can apply your own CSS rules to the default theme
2. This theme enhances the native dark theme so it will be compatible with YouTube theme changes
3. You can set a time schedule to enable or disable the dark theme

its already on your youtube page here how you can change it..... Click your profile picture . Click Appearance . Select "Dark theme" to use the dark theme setting. OR. Turn on Light theme or Use device theme........

The background color setting in the options is broken, it only changes the mic button (next to search bar) but does not change the background. I can't give this extension more than 3 stars until this bug gets fixed.

Mmmmm de dudosa prosedencia no me deja colocar un tema en una aplicacion y segundo en ves de hacer tanto espamento x que no mejor actualizar las aplicaciones de sitios web que trae el celular con la obcion de temas y que traiga la obcion de personalisar con fotos de galeria y colores hubiera sigo mejor esa idea en ves de estar descargando aplicaciones que no sirven ya no adtos para celulares androi es una pena ☹️🤨
Youtube's built in dark mode suddenly stopped working even with Chrome being updated and even the appearance settings disappeared from the menu so I needed a fix and only this one WORKED for me! THANK YOU!
Looks good when it wants to work but it decided it wants to be off by default, meaning I have to click the extension itself in the extensions menu every time I want youtube to be dark mode. If it didn't do this it'd be great but it's basically useless as an extension to have youtube be dark by default

Was working flawlessly since I installed it, until today. Now it just doesn't work at all no matter what I do. Perhaps it got broken by a youtube update?

It was working fine for a bit then suddenly it turns off and now never works again. i even redownloaded it. it resized me browser be it self. idk this thing is doing now
