Description from extension meta

Django Doc Quixk switch to desired version

Image from store Django Doc Helper
Description from store A chrome extension to auto redirect to desired django docs version. We always use a single django version for all our projects which might not be up to date with the latest version. However, whenever you open a page from django doc(after a google search), you always end up in the development version of the document. You need to select appropriate version at the bottom. This extension will always take you to the right version of the document based on your settings. To change settings go to chrome extensions(Menu->Extensions) page and choose Django Doc Helper->options & enter the desired version. Process mentioned below in screenshot:

  • (2018-01-11) Cuneyt Mertayak: Unfortunately it doesn't serve its purpose. Gets an infinite loop if you hit to a version other than the one you specified.

Latest issues

  • (2014-10-02, v:1.0) Denilson Sá Maia: Permissions
Why does it require permission to read my browser history? Maybe it shouldn't, maybe the extension could be implemented without requiring that permission. Putting the source-code on GitHub would be nice too. :)
  • (2014-10-02, v:1.0) Denilson Sá Maia: Search is broken
Using the search feature (inside docs.djangoproject.com site) will lead to infinite redirection. This is a bug in this extension.
