StudentsFirst is designed to help your interactions with CUNYFirst go smoother. To use it, just install the extension and log in to CUNYFirst. StudentsFirst takes over from there.
In this preview release, you're getting a brand new landing page, that actually makes sense.
- Get where you need to go with a brand new landing page.
- A summary panel on the lefthand side shows relevant information about registration, tuition, and the academic calendar.
- Notifications get out of your way and stay there until you want them. Roll over the the notification center with your mouse.
- CUNYFirst was confused about what school some students were enrolled in. No more.
There's plenty more on the way. Feel free to send feedback and bug reports. I'll try my best to accommodate.

- (2014-05-19) Jacob Sosa: StudentFirst, while seeming like a good idea, seems like a phishing website. It would place itself in front of the Actual CUNYfirst page, making itself seem as though it were a phishing scam. This is quite troubling because our personal information is being input into fields provided by this extension/app/addon. I will be uninstalling this extension/app/addon until the problem has been rectified, and i have received word from the creator.

I have had trouble logging into my CUNYfirst account lately. I claimed my CUNYfirst account at the beginning of April but since registration was not open I never logged into the account. I found this addon while searching for other addons and thought it could be useful, however it has proven ineffective, and quite frankly has been perceived as a threat to my personal security. When attempting to access the actual CUNYfirst login page, the StudentsFirst page would place itself in front of the actual CUNYfirst login page, making it seem like it was a phishing scam. I would input my username and password on the StudentsFirst page but would always get a "incorrect password'' message. Upon receiving the 'incorrect password' message, I would then click on one of the three green tabs- 'forgot password,' 'change password,' and 'first time users.' After changing my password many times, I would once again return to the StudentsFirst page where once again I would be told that I am entering the wrong information. I am, however, able to access the actual, correct CUNYfirst page through another browser, but overall, I believe this StudentsFirst app/extension/addon is not working properly, and I cannot get past the fact that it looks like a phishing website. Even more troubling is the fact that our personal information is being input into this StudensFirst system, with one having no idea who or where this information is being funneled to. This problem has been reported to the IT dept. at my school for further investigation. I would appreciate feedback regarding this issue.
