Desmos allows you to type commands which automatically turn into Greek letters, for example "alpha" -> α, "beta" -> β. But only alpha and beta work. This extension makes desmos work with all of them! So you can type "Omega" and it turns into Ω.

- (2023-05-11) Robbie C (Robbie): From what I've read here in the Reviews, the extension used to work. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to be operational. Great idea in theory - wish it worked!
- (2023-05-01) Nucleardoom: Sorry to leave the bad review, but this extension stopped working! It simply no longer does the one thing its advertised to do. I hope it gets fixed soon because it was wonderful when it worked! Please fix!
- (2023-01-12) DragonGiO: It doesn't work
- (2022-12-07) Maarten de Haan: Doesn't work anymore. I hope it's fixed soon because I used it all the time! very sad
- (2022-11-30) Jerome Masicat: Used this a lot, stopped working today for some reason. Worked great until it didnt.
- (2022-11-30) Michael DiFranco: It worked like a charm for a couple days, and then stopped working. Maybe Desmos updated and broke it. Desmos version 1.8. The function Desmos.MathQuill.config() doesn't seem to do anything, even when I run it manually in the console.
- (2022-11-29) Adam Kasiewicz: Tried everything. the text box pops up and then does nothing.
- (2022-10-14) KPTECH: This extension works great... on the graphing calculator. I generally prefer to use the scientific calculator, and it does not activate for that site.
- (2022-08-26) Mehmet Sarraç: FOR PEOPLE THAT THINK IT DOESNT WORK. There's a way to change the source code but sadly it no longer works since some new changes of the calculator. It is oudated sorry for all of you who wanted to use it. Not all hope is lost... here's a copy paste for the calculator (pretty much all Greek letters working as a variable in desmos) : \Omega,\omega,\Psi,\chi,\Sigma,\rho,\Xi,\xi,\mu,\Lambda,\lambda,\kappa,\eta,\zeta,\varepsilon,\epsilon,\Delta,\delta,\Gamma,\gamma,\infty,\%\operatorname{of},\operatorname{ans},\int_{ }^{ },\prod_{n=}^{ },\sum_{n=}^{ },\sqrt[3]{},\sqrt[]{},\tau,\Pi,\pi,\Phi,\phi,\Theta,\theta,\sqrt{ },\beta,\alpha
- (2022-04-28) Paul Tashkent: Only works if the URL of desmos "https://www.desmos.com/calculator?lang=de" does not contain "?lang=...". However desmos won't let me remove that part of the url, it keeps on replacing it there. Major oversight within the addon. How do I make the addon work with "?lang=..." in the URL? How do I make desmos load without the "?lang=..." in the URL?
- (2022-04-12) Kalut Pantai: Used to work but then suddenly stopped working.
- (2022-03-17) Adei Jabari: Does NOT work.
- (2022-02-17) David Wagner: Incredible. Fastest way to visualize equations and now can use exact notation is so nice.Thank you! (also appreciate that permissions were scoped only to desmos.com)
- (2021-10-25) Adrien: It doesn't work even after I disabled my add blocker.
- (2021-10-18) Thaigo: Thank you and awesome work; this is something I've wanted for a while. Only problem was I had to change URL in the source to get it to work on my desmos ("calculator?lang=pt-BR"). For anyone else having problems, this is an easy workaround.
- (2021-09-21) Tomas Mendoza: Doesn't work. Tried typing gamma and nothing happens
- (2021-05-13) Sam Heslip: Perfect. Exactly what I needed and incredibly easy.
- (2020-11-23) Marvin Koonce: Favorite extension ever. One question - is there iota?
- (2020-11-04) Scott Warnert: I've been looking for something that does exactly this for quite some time.
- (2020-10-26) Yevgeniy Gorbachev: Very convenient. I would really appreciate this being made to work for Desmos Scientific Calculator as well.
- (2020-09-23) Ml G: It is a réaly Great extension. but it is not working. PLEASE HELP.
- (2020-09-23) Ryan Chang: Very handy. It would be better if it worked on other desmos products (like https://www.desmos.com/scientific) other than the graphing calculator.
- (2020-02-18) Kirk Brode: It works great. Super convenient. I'm so glad to have found this extension. It was such a pain before to use rho and the other greek letters that Desmos doesn't automatically convert. Now it's a breeze. I wish I would have found this a long time ago.
