Description from store [Disclaimer: if you download Dark Reader (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dark-reader/eimadpbcbfnmbkopoojfekhnkhdbieeh) and adjust its settings like this (https://gyazo.com/5afef45544e46bbbc7654e18eddd85ab), it will give provide you a better performance than this extension's one, but it won't be as dark 😈.] Initially, in the extension's popup (which can be found by clicking on the three dots located at the top right corner of Chrome windows) there are only two buttons. By pressing on the left one, we can add the current webpage from where we are inspecting the popup to our list of selected pages. This means, from now on, every time we load this page the color of its background will be black! The websites added to the list can be removed or disabled so their default background colors can load normally. The button on the right serves for enabling the extension's action on every single webpage; this is, all sites you visit will have a black background and white text while this option is checked. This extension has one main issue: Flash of Unstyled Content (FOUC). When fixed, it will work much better. To be continued? 🤔 Code: https://github.com/jmt-chromeextensions/BlackBg FYI: Extensions are not activated automatically when they are installed. This extension, like many others you have tried probably, starts working on all the corresponding tabs at the right moment it is installed, but this is not the default behaviour. Take in mind that if you install an extension sometime and it doesn't work on the tabs you have already open, you may need to refresh those tabs with F5 key or by clicking on the reload button located in the browser's top left corner.
