Description from extension meta

This extension makes your browsing experience...Squanchier.

Image from store Squanchify
Description from store Squanchify is the...the quickest and most accurate method of making your Chrome browsing experience squanchier. Also, the only one. This extension--well, it crawls through your pages' links and text, replacing words every now and then with the correct conjugation of the, umm, the word "squanch." You control the action. Use the popup and move the slider to your preferred level of...squanchiness. While the most feasible-yet-still-recurrently-chortle-inducing strategem might be to keep it at its lowest setting, when the homies are over you'd better believe you'll be squanching it to the max. There are many other levels to be explored. Oh, and you can de-squanch and then re-squanch your browser with the click of a button if, I dunno, you're reading mission-critical dossiers and you can't afford to miss a word. But let's face it, genius: you can. MIT License. Do what you will. 1.1 Less ugly now. 1.2: Now featuring more subtle squanchiness for lower slider values. Turn it low, forget about it. Be pleasantly surprised every now and then. 1.3: Squanchify no longer breaks like all your websites. 1.4 No more unexpected squanching. 1.5 Small fixes.

  • (2018-05-28) Christopher D: If installed unknowingly, it is basically malware. I sync Chromium on multiple computers and Chrome on my smart phone, so I didn't think it was a virus for quite a while. I spent over an hour editing a Wikipedia article, before figuring it out. I thought for a bit that a genius hacker infected the entire internet. Some pranks cross the line. this is one.
  • (2018-05-15) Esen: Wow this is subtle but great
  • (2018-03-22) Summer Sanchinoz: This program is one of the most fun little toys I have tried out for my browser. Although it provides no actual benefit or enhancement, it is great fun if you are a fan of Rick and Morty's favorite degenerate cat. Be sure to change the slider to adjust to your preferred levels of squanchitude. Especially fun to play a prank on people with, or even yourself should you come home inebriated and wonder what the hell is going on. I suggest a low setting and leaving it on for when someone else is using your browser. Also I may or may not have accidentally quoted websites for school papers with the setting on and submitted a squanchy text quote once or twice.

  • (2016-04-10) Big Jaspy: i would give it 4 an a half if i could, because it glitches and auto squanches pages. other than that pretty good.

Do you have bubble shooters games
  • (2018-10-24, v:1.5) Richard Gingell: Spaces being moved in code snippets
Hi, on websites like stackoverflow and w3schools, I seem to lose spaces in lines of code snippets. For example here: https://www.w3schools.com/booTsTrap/bootstrap_ref_css_tables.asp, if I squanchify then the code example at the bottom loses spaces from before the class attribute and they get placed at the end. So <table class="table"> becomes <tableclass ="table">. I absolutely love this addon (Even when it changes variable names to squanch inside of code snippets) but losing spaces is just annoying. Thanks!
  • (2017-06-01, v:1.4) PROBLEM
Someone in my class added this and i don't know how to deleate it and i don't like it
  • (2016-12-23, v:1.4) Jacob Acklin: Does Squanchify work in chat rooms?
Basically, if I were to use Squanchify in a Twitch chat, would I be able to see words replaced with squanch or not? From what I can find through my own experimentation, it seems to be a no. If this isn't a feature I would very much love to see this.
  • (2016-02-22, v:1.3) Feroz Khan: quoted text disappears once page fully loads
On certain websites (weirdly not all of them, eg reddit and wikipedia) text in quotations will be hidden once a page fully loads. As in i see the text initially and then it disappears. I noticed the problem doesn't show up when i desquanch. Which is unfortunate cos i could do with more squanch in my life :( Please fix
  • (2015-12-12, v:1.3) Krys Brown: Read Text Option
I'm dying laughing over here, Squanchifying transcripts of Donald Trump. It would be amazing if there was an option to highlight text and have it read back with the squanches. Looool
  • (2015-12-09, v:1.3) Olivia Johnson: How can I get squanchify off of google chrome?
How can I get squanchify off of google chrome? My friend put it on as a joke and I need to know how to turn it off. Thank you
  • (2015-10-22, v:1.2) Alan Smithee: Some sites get messed up
So, I love Squanchify, for the record, but I've noticed that with some websites it actually caused a rather odd problem. On sites like Dorkly and Dailyfailcenter.com, it caused a massive reduction on the comic size and made it unreadable. I checked to see if it was my internet connection or browser, but immediately after deleting Squanchify to test the websites loaded perfectly. Still love the app, but I'm wondering if that could be fixed. Thank you for your time!
  • (2015-10-20, v:1.2) Brandon Clay: Pages get narrowed
On some pages (https://community.extremenetworks.com/extreme/topics/how-an-enterasys-c3g124-makes-a-decision-about-packet-forwarding is an example), when this is enabled in Chrome, the page is narrowed. This happens even after de-squanchifying.
  • (2015-10-20, v:1.2) Christian W: bug - runs when off
sometimes pages get squanchified despite the extension being off. kinda less than desirable.
  • (2015-10-19, v:1.2) Ben Trube: Spaces getting removed
In some instances the spacing between words gets messed up when the extension is active and squanching. It's most noticeable on Facebook, where it removes all of the spaces in lists, such as who likes a particular post. Here's an example: http://imgur.com/WrGosuc It might have something to do with having several links in a row, not sure.
  • (2015-10-19, v:1.2) Matt Hughes: Links disappear
Some links disappear when Squanchify is enabled. Not every link disappears, but when I find one that does, the behavior is 100% repeatable when refreshing the same page. http://imgur.com/a/CIUfR
  • (2015-10-19, v:1.2) Louis Fischetti: artifact
great extension! but when it's enabled, many pages render in a very narrow column (like 10 px) or my browser is seen to sites (like espn.com) as a mobile device and redirects me to m.espn.com. MacBook Pro OSX 10.10.5.
