  • (2023-11-08) Jake B-H: When its working it can definitely make it easy for teams to share passwords, its nice not to have to remember FedEx login for example. But with many sites, like Delta.com, it never works. Then sometimes it will stop working entirely and prompt you to "enter your password" before it allows you to log in with any saved passwords. But when you follow the steps the extension gives you nothing is solved. So basically not useful most of the time
  • (2023-10-25) Fred The Bulldog: It works....but it's also apparently poorly made. I've been using it for a few weeks but as of a few days ago, it has caused chrome to freeze up almost continually. I turned off all of my extensions and then systematically went through them one by one, turning them on and testing. Sure enough, Rpass was the one that was causing the freezing. None of the other extensions did this. I paid how much $$$ to Rippling and I can't even use the password manager?
  • (2023-08-21) Shawn Malkou: Works great for some sites and not so great for others. Since the new Chrome Update last week, Rpass seems to be broken. You have to keep removing and readding it for Rpass to recognize you as logged in. Hopefully a fix gets implemented ASAP
  • (2023-08-21) Zach Feldman: I'm having the same issue as Erin. I have to keep removing the extension and re-adding it for it to recognize that I am logged in and auto-fill passwords. There's also no way to fill in basic HTTP passwords like with Bitwarden. I wish it worked better because it's what my company uses for PW management! Rippling, can you throw more resources at this please?
  • (2023-08-17) Erin Hartje: I don't think it has ever worked for me. Keeps telling me I am not signed in. I am signed in to Rippling but Rpass still has error and 0 support on how to sign in to RPass to fix this.
  • (2023-04-27) Kyrylo Silin: It's okay but I want this for Safari, not Chrome. 🙏
  • (2023-03-21) Joshua Skrzypek: There are some major issues with the way this extension works. When you paste in a password, if it contains a '<' symbol, the extension silently drops any characters between it and the next `>` (inclusive, drops the text through the end of the password if no '>' is present). Limitations to password characters should NOT come from the password manager!!
  • (2022-04-27) Artem Horbenko: How to remove icon inside input fields?
  • (2022-04-23) Kelsie Spencer: Chrome extension doesn't work half the time -- I get an error almost everyday. I have to frequently remove the extension from Chrome and add it back. Major headache. Wouldn't use this extension if it weren't for the company I work for using it.
  • (2022-04-19) Anush Ramani: Have to remember to login to it everyday, otherwise it's just rendered useless. Who on earth is every going to remember to do that when it's out of sight. Very poor user experience.
  • (2022-01-10) Sam Awan: Horrible. So buggy.
  • (2021-12-03) Derick Johnson: Logs out at least twice a day (which then I have to do 2FA for), often freezes and can't load any of my credentials, often shows some error with connecting to rippling, organization (like ordering based on usage or the ability to order manually) is non-existent. Auto-filling is often broken. Sometimes it just struggles to load the credentials and I have to wait while it spins. Very poor user experience. I would highly recommend against using this software.
  • (2021-08-17) Richard Graves: Frequently doesn't load at all when you select the icon, doesn't do anything well and gates access to everything, while occasionally just freezing. Almost a good enough reason to leave Rippling on its own.
  • (2021-06-18) Harshit Kedia: Works well
  • (2021-06-09) Frank Hernandez: RPass has to be one of the WORST, if not THE worst, password managers I have ever used. Slow, buggy, and field detection is awful in most cases. They could have copied something like BitWarden or 1Password, but instead there's this. The only reason to use this is because we use the Rippling service, but other than that, another password manager, even LastPass, would have been a better option. Long story short, the devs of the extension need to improve responsiveness of the extension, the field detection, and not have this slow response when clicking on the icon in the field to autofill.
  • (2021-04-16) Daniel Ingraham: Freezes constantly, won't remain logged in, completely worthless
  • (2021-04-14) Sangbin Lee: Frustrating to use, annoying behavior of the extension modal and icon in password boxes. PLEASE just develop a partnership with someone who does only thing.
  • (2021-04-13) It works when it doesn't have an ungodly amount of lag time, when it actually shows the log in screen, and when it actually gives you your passwords for a given page. Wouldn't use it if it wasn't required
  • (2021-03-03) This is one of the worst password managers I've ever used. Firstly, you have to use it as a browser extension. Secondly, you have to reload a page you're on every time before you can use RPass. Thirdly, you have to explicitly share every password with other members of your team, and even then sometimes people can't use the new passwords. This is a poorly built piece of software, it should either be ditched or rebuilt.
  • (2021-02-17) Warren Kim: Freezes, buggy, not user friendly with an ephemeral modal that can vanish with a mis-click outside its boundary. Creating new entries is painful.
  • (2021-02-08) Steven Griswold: Inefficient, ugly, and buggy at best. With ~1300 passwords stored can take 20-30 seconds to search/load which is orders of magnitude longer than services like Lastpass. Has an annoying recursive login loop bug which seems to be hard to replicate for support but results in me not being able to access passwords with the plugin. No way to further sort passwords than by workspace (personal vs business vs client). Will torch all your personal passwords if you have to reset your login. DO NOT FORGET YOUR LOGIN. Rippling is an amazing suite, but this seems like a hackjob of an extension programmed by interns. Pros: It's free (included in cost of platform) which saves a tremendous amount of money compared to paying for Lastpass et al for the entire company. I'll take moderate inconvenience as fair trade but that doesn't change my rating.
  • (2020-11-23) Martin Pitoňák: Logs me out periodically, freezes when I try to log in again. Worst password manager I've used. It has some nice team features, but UX is 1/5.
  • (2020-11-03) Gordon Oheim: Cumbersome to use. Other extensions can fill in username and password with one click. With RPass I need to first select the username and only then can I select the password. If it finds the password at all. RPass will also add an ugly icon to each login form. It's needlessly blurry on the edges. That's not a functional issue, but it adds to the overall unpleasant experience.
  • (2020-10-27) David Koerner: stopped working as an extension and now I am locked out of everything.
  • (2020-06-25) Phil Sims: The app works quite well for us. Support is responsive if/when we have questions or concerns.
  • (2020-06-24) Colin Devlin: Doesn't work - API not defined?
  • (2019-01-21) I've been using this extension for over a month now (maybe two) as a replacement for Dashlane. I have had less issues with RPass, including less flakiness and more consistent auto-fill on websites. There have been very few things that RPass hasn't performed flawlessly. Occasionally the username field is blank, and I need to manually fill that in. We recently discovered that Rpass only works on Chrome and not other browsers, which are necessary in our work environment because not all clients use Chrome. We are just beginning to get to the password sharing portion between team members, and we haven't used the mobile app much just yet, so I am just reviewing the chrome extension. Passwords that have been saved are easy to find. It's clean and consistent. We don't have to constantly log in to the app like we did with Dashlane. We would also like to see the opportunity to capture security token and security answers within the app/extension, in order to facilitate better sharing between team members. The Rippling Support Team is phenomenal at getting back to you in a timely manner, and resolving issues.
