Research products latest prices and stock with one click
Simply highlight the product name or manufacturer part number and right click and select Farnell element14 Accelerator from the drop down list. The accelerator slides out a discreet box, pulling in all the data from Farnell element14 without leaving the current page.
Directly within your browser you can now see:
• Price
• Real time stock information
• RoHS Status
• Re-Reeling options
• Access to all the datasheets we hold on this product
• Buy or Add to Parts List for later
Now you have the product details you can either choose to Buy; with the item already added to your basket you will be taken directly to the Farnell element14 site; alternatively you can add the product to your Parts List where it will be stored directly in your browser to review later.
The Parts Accelerator responds to the way you work and builds complete Parts Lists as you research across any number of sites. The Parts List is stored in the top right of your browser in the Accelerator icon which also includes options for the tool (e.g. whether to automatically display on Google or Supplier Websites).

ADD-ON TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
The Parts Accelerator browser add-on (the Add-on) is offered by Farnell element14 to provide a service to you. Your use of the Add-on is subject to these terms and conditions (the T&Cs). You should read the T&Cs carefully before installing or using the Add-on. If you do not accept the T&Cs, do not download the Add-on.
As well as setting out the terms on which you can install and use the Add-on, the T&Cs also help you to understand the nature of information we collect from you when you use the Add-on and how we use that information. By downloading the Add-on you confirm that you have read and agree to the T&Cs, including our collecting such information and using it as set out here.
In these T&Cs, ‘we’ and ‘Farnell element14’ mean Premier Farnell UK Limited trading as Farnell element14, a company registered in England and Wales under number 860093, whose registered office is at 150 Armley Road, Leeds, LS12 2QQ, UK.
USE OF THE ADD-ON
When you use your browser to search for products on certain websites, the Add-on enables your browser automatically to check if the product is available from Farnell element14. If that product is available the Add-on will notify you of the product and provides you product information and provides a simple route to purchase the product from us or add it to a parts list for later.
To enable you to use the Add-on, Farnell element14 gives you a personal, limited license to use the Add-on for such purpose. This license is personal, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive and revocable. Apart from this license, no rights in the Add-on are granted.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
The Add-on does not collect any personally identifiable information from you when you download or use it. It does, however, collect the following information in order to offer the service it provides:
• The price of the product on the site being searched
• The date and time of the search
• Data on the frequency of usage of the Add-on features
• Browser type and version
• Your IP address but in an anonymized format
This information is processed by the Add-on and transmitted to Farnell element14 in an anonymised form. Farnell element14 cannot identify you or your computer from the information it receives from the Add-on.
THE PARTS ACCELERATOR DOES NOT COLLECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT?
We will only use the information that is referred to above for the following purposes:
• Analysing use of the Add-on and how we can improve its features and services
• Monitoring trends of popular products
• Targetting most used features for further development
We do not disclose any information to third parties (unless we are required or permitted by law to do so) and no information is sold, although we may share it with other companies in the Premier Farnell group of companies.
SECURITY AND DATA RETENTION
Farnell element14 uses appropriate security measures to protect the information that it collects from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. Farnell element14 may keep the information that it collects though the Add-on for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires or permits.
THIRD PARTY SITES AND CONTRIBUTORS
The Add-on generates links to websites and microsites that are operated by Farnell element14 or its sister companies. We do not link to third party sites. If you are re-directed by the Add-on to another site operated by Farnell element14 or one of its Sister Companies the terms of access of that site will apply to your access to and use of that site.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All copyright, trademarks, design rights, patents and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered) in and to the Add-on including without limitation the name Parts Accelerator are and shall be owned by Farnell element14. You may only use the Add-on and information retrieved by it for you for your personal use in comparing the price of products you intend to use in your business or personally and you must not copy, reproduce, republish, or otherwise use the Add-on or any information retrieved by it for you for any other purpose. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from the Add-On or any information retrieved by it except for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of Parts Accelerator Add-On or any information retrieved by it requires the prior written permission of an authorised officer of Farnell element14.
The names, images and logos identifying Farnell element14 or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of Farnell element14 and/or such third parties. Nothing contained in these T&Cs shall be construed as conferring any license or right to use any trademark, design right or copyright of Farnell element14 or any other third party.
EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Add-on and information retrieved by it, including any information regarding or relating to third party products and services, is provided “AS IS” and on an “AS AVAILABLE” basis. You acknowledge that the Add-on is provided free of charge and expressly agree that your use of it is at your risk. Farnell element14 does not warrant that the Add-on will be uninterrupted, error free, that defects will be corrected, free of viruses or bugs. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to implement sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the accuracy of data input and output and to ensure that your systems will be protected.
Nothing in these T&Cs shall exclude or limit any warranty or liability for loss which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law. In particular, Farnell element14 does not limit its liability for:
• Breach of section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982
• Personal injury or death arising as a result of its negligence
• Under Section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987
• Fraud, including fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these terms shall affect the rights of anyone who deals as a ‘consumer’ as defined in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
Subject to this and to the extent permitted by law, Farnell element14 excludes all representations and warranties (whether express or implied by law), including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy of the Add-on or any information retrieved by it.
Farnell element14 shall not be liable for any of the following losses, costs, expenses, liabilities or damage (Losses) (whether such Losses were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise and including where such Losses arise from negligence): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; (g) loss of use; (h) business interruption; (i) computer downtime; (j) loss of contract; or (k) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Add-on however arising.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may withdraw your consent for us to collect and process your information at any time by uninstalling the Add-on.
You can cease using the Add-on at any time.
We can request you to stop using the Add-on at any time and if we do so, your license will come to an end and you will delete it permanently from your computer and/or systems immediately.
UPDATES
There may from time to time be updates to the Add-on which are designed to improve, enhance and develop further the Add-on and which may take the form of bug fixes, enhanced functionality or new versions. These updates may be automatically downloaded and installed. You agree to receive such updates as part of your use of the Add-on.
GENERAL
We may update these T&Cs from time to time. Please check that you have the current version. By using the Add-on you agree that it is the most recent version which applies to you.
These T&Cs are governed by English law and you agree to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
